TruffleHunter - Black Truffle Mustard - Dijon Mustard - Gourmet Condiments - 6.34 Oz

I am not a mustard person, but this is delicious.

Our local grocery store was out of my usual truffle mustard (Truffle Pig- Black Truffle Mustard), therefore, I decided to try this brand. I was NOT disappointed! I really enjoy my usual brand of Truffle Mustard. However, if I had to do a “blind taste test”, I doubt I’d be able to tell the two brands apart.This Truffle Hunter brand has a very rich and earthy truffle flavor!

We are big fans of truffle in our house, and my husband wanted this for a brisket he was smoking. We have now used it on the brisket (delicious!), sauce for fries (amazing!), and a burger/bratwurst sauce (so good!). If you like the taste of truffle, this is a great next step to try out with your recipes!

The best product.

The mustard is good. Probably the best available in the US at the moment. But it is about 50% as good as the black truffle Chablis mustard from Maille IMHO.

I actually bought a couple of brands to compare since it is difficult to find this in our area and the price is pretty high. There is no comparison... My son and I did a smell and taste test and came to the conclusion that you are better off savoring the experience and ordering less often if $ is the issue.

Hubby loves all kinds of mustard & this one has to be a new favorite. We ordered several new ones to try & this one was gone first. It is WOW potent when you open that jar which is stating how full of flavor it is. Think we need the quart size! Great mustard!

It tasted to me like horseradish. I expected a morel mushroom flavor. The ingredients read very well but I didn't like the smell or taste.
