It's Haunted!

Beautiful illustrations, sturdy and creative flaps, there isn’t really a story but just the perfect scary tour inside a haunted house...Maybe a little too scary, some of the pictures behind the flaps don’t make me comfortable enough to give it to my almost two year old, I don’t want him to have nightmares.Attached a couple of examples (toys in the trunk, ghost and the wolfman in the bedroom)

We love Halloween at our house and so when I found this lift the flap book I immediately ordered it for my toddlers (age 18 months and 3 years) There is no story to this book, just a few words and then some flaps to open. I assumed it would be age appropriate for young kids, but I thought some of the pictures were too creepy. I just didn't want my 3 year old getting the idea that this toys might be demonic or having images of scary monsters in his closet. I was very disappointed. Older kids might enjoy the pictures, but I think they would expect more story along with it. I'd pass on this book. It will be going in my thrift store pile.

My grandkids (ages 4 and twins aged 2) just LOVE scary books. I have some old ones left from my own kids with "action tabs" (makes bats fly, etc.) that have seen better days. And two very grabby 2-year olds have been hard on them. This book has some pretty durable little flaps that open to reveal ghosts, goblins, and others. They LOVE it!

Excellent book with doors, sheets, cainets etc that have spooky things inside. My 3 ye olds favorite book!

I bought this book for my 3 year old grandson who loves Halloween and anything spooky. He absolutely loves this book.

Bought it for my 5 year old daughter. She loved finding the hidden flaps! We read it twice, then she read it with dad and found more tabs. She has pulled it out several times to "read" it on her own. Beautiful pictures, just scary enough for a 5 year old.

Wonderful Halloween book for all young kids!

Lots of flaps to open on each page.. not many words. But my 3 YO loves it!
