Probably shouldn't buy a used one
A book by Debra Morrison about a subject I haven't seen anything about. I have a relative who is interested in buying and fixing up a shipping container and I thought I'd read this book and gift him a copy if I thought it was worthwhile. I wish there were more graphics, something like the cover which was very nice by the way. The part on where to find these containers which logically since they are used in shipping by boats, would be at a port. The part about making sure no caustic chemicals had been used in the container was something I had not really thought about, so redoing the floor adds to the cost, but she says you can buy a brand new one for not much money which seems the way to go. With a used one you never know what's been in there before since the containers get used over and over again. The part having to do with cutting windows and doors could be expanded but for what it was, a book that touches on the subject, it works just fine.

A big time joke
What can be said about this joke of a book that has not already been said. It's like a roast at this point. Whoever wrote this should do the decent thing and delete it.

Great info but lacking ...
This book offered some really great information, much of which I hadn't considered in all my research of this style home. It's a quick easy read but it really missed out by not providing any information on layouts or visual concepts to view for inspiration.

Ship it to the trash
Let's see. I'll take an hour or so to run off a useless book, post it on Amazon, and get some suckers to buy it.This is a really duh effort and not worth reading even for free, and even though it would take you about 10 minutes

Helpful
A helpful little book for those thinking about making their home in a container. There is lots to think about and this book will give one a real "leg up" in this effort. This book will help one ask the right questions which is the first step in getting the right answers.

Good book available for free!
Good book with useful knowledge and it was available at no cost. It would be just plain dumb to neglect to accumulate the knowledge in the free Kindle books available from Amazon. Good reference and resource material.

Very brief review and or no great benefit for reader
This book was short, minimal helpful information, no pictures or even sketches. Very brief review and or no great benefit for reader. I promptly returned it.

Ok for free but there is not much technical content and there are no pictures or plans included. American based.
