This product is insanely effective to stop thumb sucking!! I’m in (pleasant) shock.Background - our daughter has sucked her thumb basically since birth. I actually didn’t care to have her stop yet except that the thumb sucking turned into a simultaneous hair pulling (her own hair) issue around 2.5 years old which got really bad. I bought every little hair toy, fidget item, literally everything out there to try to stop the hair pulling but nothing even touched it. I learned it is a self soothing behavior exclusively tied to thumb sucking so … our finnnnnal last ditch effort was to try to stop the thumb sucking, something I wasn’t too hopeful would work based on all I had read about how hard it is to stop with really young kids.TWO DAYS. 2. That’s it.I put this stuff on her thumbs and she completely stopped thumb sucking (and hair pulling) in TWO days. I am mind blown.Day 1/ the first time she tried it her reaction was extreme. Tears, she started drooling - it was intense. We made up a story about how when you get too old to suck your thumb it just starts to taste bad. After 2 days of applying at around 3x per day her entire oral habit seems to have stopped. She’s not even reaching up to suck her thumb or trying while falling asleep or anything!! We are now 3 weeks in and she doesn’t seem to miss it or be inclined to suck her thumb at all, even without needing the product anymore.10/10 recommendI also tasted it. It’s awful, almost causes an oral reaction it’s so bad, but it freaking worked!!

My daughter would not keep her fingers out of her mouth and biting her nails, I put this on she did NOT like it. But it definitely works! She doesn't want it on again!

Nothing on the advertisement says that it’s used for children ages 3 and up. I even asked the chat bot on the Amazon page for this product the age range and nothing stated 3 and up. As soon as we opened the package and took it out the box was the first time we saw “SAFE FOR ALL AGES OVER 3”Highly disappointed, what a waste of time. Returning

Con todo respeto NO LO RECOMIENDO demasiado fuerte, yo como mama intensa pruebo toodo antes de ponerle a mi hija y este producto me hizo vomitar bien feo, pense que era porque habia comido hacia 20 min y espere 1 hora y media para ponerlo en el dedito de mi pequeña de 2 años y a los 5 min igual vomito todo su almuerzo, NO CREO QUE SEA UN METODO FACTIBLE PARA NIÑOS COMO LO DEJAN EN LA DESCRIPCIÓN ademas es un peligro si de casualidad de pasan la mano por los ojo!!!

This stuff is just what it advertises to be. Icky, long-lasting, easy application. My son (3) sucks his thumb and we’ve tried everythingggg. Immediately after his first lick of this stuff, he stopped! He didn’t go near his thumb for 3 whole weeks! I figured we’d done it and stopped applying it. But then, I saw the thumb back in his mouth and went back to start re-applying. This time though, he went right through the stuff. I would apply it before bed (8pm) and by 10pm I’d see him on the monitor with his thumb in his mouth. I wanted it to be the silver bullet to stopping his thumb-sucking but sadly, it wasn’t.

O M G!!!! We got this for my 7 year old to stop biting his nails and sucking his thumb we put it on two days after night three he was done sucking his thumb. Night one he woke us up crying because the taste was so bitter! So I highly recommend if you need to cut the habit!!!

This stuff is strong. Not like the paint on stuff that was used on me 30 years ago. The taste is strong and it doesn't come off easy. Be aware, if they use their hands to eat it will distort the food flavor. It has staying power. Only took 2 days to get my daughter to stop putting her thumb in her mouth. Great stuff.

It didn’t work and the bottle completely dried out even though we kept the cap on.
