サム・ペキンパー監督の映画『コンボイ Convoy』'78の原案となった 同名のヒット曲は既に持っている "C.W. McCall - Greatest Hits"にも収録されてるんですが、 その根底に流れるノリを追っかけて見たくなって買ってみました！ 届いて早々、パッケージ裏のカタログ見たら 同じ"ROAD MUSIC"というタイトルで 同じ女の子が色違いのTシャツ着て、同じポーズ取ってるアルバムが4タイトル。 こっちも欲しくなってきた！

ok...this is not a set if you want a lot of familiar tracks.This is a set for those who love 70s and 80s music,who want to here something diffrent.Its not totally obscure...there still the inevitable golden earring,blondie and canned heat tracks,but for the more discerning,theres british and american obscurities such as Al stewart,alvin lee,dan seals,dave edmunds,mink deville,the tubes,and....chesney hawkes (ok so no collection of this size is going to be perfect!).With its mixture of rock ,pop ,and country rock,i have found myself listening to this set more than your usual drive albums,i advise you to try!
