Fraudulent claim to buckwheat only ingredients.
I call fraud on the vendor and Amazon, as well as reviewers who claim that the only ingredient is buckwheat flour. From the box: “Ingredients: Organic sifted wheat flour, organic buckwheat flour, sea salt.”

NOT 100% BUCKWHEAT. READ CAREFULLY
I am not sure whether I missed this, or whether the online description was inaccurate.I was searching (carefully, I thought) for soba noodles that were 100% buckwheat. I chose these. When they arrived, the box clearly states that the first ingredient was wheat (not buckwheat) flour. Please be advised.

"Organic" from China
Made in China. There are no further details on where in China the buckwheat is grown or other details on the supply chain. Highly doubtful if the ingredients are really organic and/or not contaminated by environmental pollution in China. Even within China, people try to buy imported foods as they don't trust Chinese food safety.

is there roasted barley in this product?
Funny thing happened - so far I have only used King Soba 100%buckwheat noodles. I was tempted to try this brand - even though I am sensible to gluten and was worried about the amount of wheat flower content in it. Interestingly as soon as I put the Organic planet Soba noodles into the boiling water, my kitchen started to smell like fresh brewed coffee??? The noodle-water smelled like "roasted barley coffee". Is the Organic planet "wheat" roasted to give the noodles a darker color? Being a King Soba noodle lover, I could not find any similarity in taste of the Organic Planet "soba noodles", non whatsoever. It is a total different taste to like or not. I would suggest to anyone in my case - try a small order first - (I bought 10lbs right away - bad move). I will stick with KingSoba's 100 buckwheat noodles and not buy Soba noodles any longer until the other producers list the exact ingredients and amount of it in it!

They taste good. I didn't pay attention that the 1st ingredient is wheat - I thought it was all buckwheat. I have to be gluten free, so I can't eat this. If that's not a problem for you, the taste is fine.

Quality, Flavor, Price, all good
These are delicate shorter soba noodles, they cook evenly, the taste is excellent (add plenty of salt to your cooking water).I store them in a square food grade bucket with a lid, along with some other pastas. Do be aware that they do not come in boxed or otherwise storage ready packaging, the packaging in minimal.

Healthy choice
It tastes a little bit bitter. You need to add more water to get rid of the bitterness. Overall, it’s good.
