We Love this food station it holds a good amount of food & dispenses properly as the cats eat it. I love the stainless steel insert so they don't get those weird pimples caused by plastic bowls. It's also very sturdy, they don't knock it over. It's easy to fill, use & clean. Literally checks every box & then some it works great and at an exceptional value!

This "PetSafe Healthy Pet Food Station - Small, 2 lb Kibble" dispenser has been the perfect match for our PetSafe Healthy Pet Water Station, it's a matching set of feeders for our cats. The food "hopper" is easy to clean, easy to fill, and easy to 'lock in' to the base. the 'lid' on the food 'hopper' also locks on well to keep it from being knocked off by your pets. the stainless steel insert that holds the food is easy to clean, stays clean for a good amount of time between cleanings, and is easy to remove and replace from the plastic base unit. This "food station" is sturdy and our cats have not been able to move it or disturb it's stability. The food dispenses well, and stays within the food tray. The only food that ends up on the floor around it is from 'aggressive' eating, and one of our cats likes to take a 'mouth full' of the kibble and put it on the floor, and then eat it, but doesn't always eat all that she puts on the floor. I really like this "food station" and it makes a nice looking set with the "water station". I can easily recommend this "food station" for it's quality, durability, stability, ease of cleaning, and clean looks.

Bought the feeder in size small for my three foster baby rabbits. Baby rabbits should have unlimited pellets, and the fosters I have consumed about 3 cups a day, which made the constant checking that their food bowl was topped off a bit tedious. Additionally, the food bowl I used before was often tipped over because they liked to eat their pellets with their paws in the bowl, and their pellets usually ended up as a mess on the floor. This feeder is great as it holds about 10 cups of their feed, and I only need to top it off every other day at most rather than twice a day. A couple of complaints though: the reservoir section and the black cap don't give the impression that they're tightly locked in. Also, as there were no instructions on how to fill and use the feeder, I assumed that it was like the waterer and originally first filled the reservoir upside down with the black cap on, then struggled to try to attach the stainless steel/plastic bottom without getting the pellets everywhere when I flipped it over. I later realized that you were probably supposed to keep the reservoir section attached to the bowl and then only remove the top black cap to refill the food from the top. A warning: the top hole for the small feeder is a bit small for a regular measuring cup, so you'll need to be careful when adding more food in. A funnel would probably be appropriate. However, the design of the product is great, and I love the ease of cleaning the stainless steel. You will need to wait until the feeder is completely empty though before you clean as there is no way to stop the food from falling, and attempting to flip it when full will not be a pretty situation.

I love these dishes. Very easy to clean.. Dishes come out. I put everything right in the dishwasher. Only think is one of my dogs make such a mess with a water bowl. That is how I came to buy these. He is upset I think because the water won't come out which is fine by me. But they do like the food one. I have 2 shelties. They came fast. Packed very well. I highly recommend. I am the one who would have to clean the floor, not the dogs. lol I free feed and have two shelties. they work well and stay full for pretty long. No problem getting food or water out as I read in other reviews. My dogs are fed and have water and that is what matters.

The food wouldn’t travel down in the bowl

We went from one cat to four overnight. We feed wet a couple times a day and free feed dry. Once everyone had a clean bill of health and were old enough to integrate, I bought a pair of these. It is easily assembled. I love that the bowl at the bottom is removable, easily cleaned metal - it seems more hygienic for them. Food drops down without much issue on its own, but occasionally benefits from a little shake at least for smaller kibble, because it can catch on an interior lip. For four cats, I'm refilling one every two weeks with small-ish kibble (Purina One Kitten). Note - this is not a water dispenser and I did not test for that. Note that the medium is not a small format feeder - its a small kibble silo! Measure height, width, and depth accordingly if it will be under something or sit on something. For the cost, it's a great value for our household - It makes our lives easy, they feel secure in that they always have access to food, and I can clean it thoroughly!

I have two of these, one small and one medium. The medium one works great with the filter, the small one doesn't. I took the filter out and it works ok.

Es útil para colocar una cantidad de comida y de cierta forma es más práctico darle de comer a los michis, sin embargo la comida queda como prensada y no se desliza por la charola. Ya probé llenándola a diferentes niveles y con croquetas de diferente tamaño y no funciona como esperaba, tengo que sacudirlo para que baje la comida, que bueno al final con eso me ahorro entre semana un poco de tiempo en el darles de comer a los gatitos antes de irme al trabajo, pero hasta ahí. Definitivamente no lo volvería a comprar. Como punto positivo la charola es de acero inoxidable y el plástico se ve de buena calidad.

Amazing and the metal bowl is so much easier to keep clean than a plastic one.

Seems good quality and easy to clean. I haven't really use it yet, but I felt the opening was too big and the flow will be too strong (like other reviews pointed out). Since this is for a stray cat outside, I needed to modify the opening a bit. I cut a plastic cup and I think it works well.

Easy to fill. Easy to disassemble. Great size. Dishwasher safe. Can’t ask for more. Recommend

This is my review for the Medium Size Petsafe Gravity Food Station, which I purchased to feed my sphynx and ragdoll. PROS + Large Container The container is large enough for at least a few days worth of food for when you're on vacation, though I personally prefer to not fill it high when I am home as the food won't come out as well and I'm hoping to not make it as stale. + Simple design The connections are simple twist to lock mechanisms. The tower is easily removable from the bowl to clean the bowl and the top is easily removable from the tower to refill the food. CONS - Food flow As I have seen a couple other reviewers state, the food typically does not flow out of the container to the front of the bowl. I'm guessing this is because of the angle (or lack thereof) of the bowl itself. Note that this could be due to the size of the food I am using (medium cat) but I have tried a few different shapes and sizes within the brand and haven't found one that works any better. Also, the food does end up within reach of the cat, so it isn't an issue that is going to cause an emergency. OVERALL At $27.57 on purchase date I feel like this product had a lot of potential value but has one design flaw that holds it back from being five star material.
