Pathfinder Pawns Base Assortment

I run a Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition game, and the Pathfinder pawns work well for our villains, monsters, and extra characters/NPC's. These bases hold the pawns upright, like paper doll stands. *** If you are a dungeonmaster or gamemaster and run roleplaying games, the Pathfinder pawn assortments sold here on Amazon and at game stores, are great, but you can usually use more stands. This product of only the stands, is suppliment to any of the other boxes. ( The pawns come with only a few stands generally, in some cases they come with none).

I am running a Skull and Shackles Adventure Path for some friends. A friend sent me the pawn set for the campaign as a gift, but it didn't come with any bases. Thus why I purchased this. There's a good selection of bases in this. I would have preferred more medium bases, since most of the PC's don't have their own mini. The amount that they provide runs low kind quickly if you're running larger battles.

exactly as shown, perfect for the their pawns, and custom inserts, definitely helps out since some of the pawn box sets dont carry the large bases. but now that i know i can get these i'll be buying pack probably with each box set, makes it fun for the players when you can throw down a couple dozen monsters, look them dead in the eye and say, "So, what do you want to do?"

The description is accurate - 10 medium stands (cover 1 square), 5 large stands (covers 2x2) and 2 huge stands (covers 3x3). For scale, a player-character or a "standard" monster fits on a medium and a horse takes a large. They fit the Paizo pawns perfectly and it's really nice to have extra because the regular kits don't come with nearly enough. If you're going to make your own pawns (perhaps with different artwork), these stands will accommodate standard corrugated cardboard.What I didn't realize when I bought this was that I need many more mediums and only a few of the other sizes. Even a moderate party of characters will use up most of the bases, leaving not nearly enough for the horde of goblins that was supposed to attack. I suppose I should just buy some extra packs but I'd still rather they sold a pack of mediums-only so we could extend out the sizes we really need. (If I ever do need multiple huges, I can always hold the image up by clipping on multiple smaller stands.)

Since I did not have the base set of Monster Pawns and only had the various additions I had to purchase the bases. The easiest way to do this was to buy the official pathfinder bases to ensure the pawns fit as they are quite thick. They come in different sizes for the different sized pawns and worked perfectly.

Not much to say about the product, it's pretty BASE-ic. See what I did there? Works as advertised. We use them primarily for D&D 5e.

It is a really nice collection of different size pawn bases. I was needing some extra bases for my pawns, and this is exactly what I needed.

These are simple and affordable and really help when you enjoy visual aids for your gaming. I use them with D&D 5e instead of pathfinder, and they're close enough to the monsters in the Monster Manual that I can usually find something that fits what I'm looking for.

Product is as advertised but honestly compared to other Boardgame standees, it's average. The clips could be better sized. Packing of the product itself is a plastic bag and I'm surprised it wasn't damaged considering they seem a little delicate. Additionally, please please don't make my mistake and assume this is a "Base Assortment". It is in fact an assortment of bases and includes none of the cutouts in the set. It's literally just a plastic bag with loose plastic bases.

Absolutamente necesario si has comprado o piensas comprar los Pawns de Pathfinder, es una opción mucho más económica que los minis.

Ho comprato queste basi per delle miniature 2D fatte in casa sulla base dei "Bestiary Pawns" ufficiali della Paizo. Che dire, funzionano egregiamente e il prezzo è molto contenuto.Buono l'assortimento, forse un paio di basi in più per confezione sarebbero state comode, ma è giusto un dettaglio.Personalmente, per l'uso che ci farò (sessioni casalinghe di gdr), con due confezioni penso di avere tutte le basi di cui mai avrò bisogno; forse ne prenderò una terza se mai dovessi perderne qualcuna, ma con due si hanno abbastanza basi per praticamente ogni scontro (parliamo di 20+2 basi medie, 10 grandi e 4 enormi).Carina l'idea di trovare una base media colorata random, ma non ci vedo usi particolari e anzi, probabilmente verrà usata ben poche volte, ma non si sa mai (io su due confezioni ne ho trovate due rosse).Ho molto apprezzato la scritta "Pathfinder" in basso rilievo sul fondo delle basi.In generale sono un buon prodotto, utilizzabile con qualsiasi GDR o GdT che abbia bisogno di supporti per pedine (dimensioni compatibili permettendo). Tutt'al più possono essere usate come segnalini sulla griglia se non si hanno le pedine 2D, ma esistono rimedi casalinghi ben più economici.
