When I found this brand on Amazon Prime I rejoiced! I was paying a mint for it at Whole Foods, and they only have it available in the bulk section about 40% of the time I'm there. The first bag we got was perfect--great thickness, moistness, flavor. We plowed through the bag! The second bag was notso great. Many pieces/most of the bag incredibly dry and difficult to eat. My 3 year old pretty much has stopped eating it due to this. My husband and I think it tastes a little "off" too, but that might be the dryness(?) I wrote the company to ask if we could expect this sort of variation bag to bag, and, if so, I'd rethink committing to 5 lbs at a time. This was the response:"I'm sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the organic mango you received. The organic mango should always be fresh and consistent. Please let us know if this happens again in the future."Ummm, yes, I'd agree the mango "should always be fresh and consistent". Is that all you have to say? I've paid about $55 twice now for your product! That didn't sit well with me. Hence the 3 stars due to "meh" customer service. If you feel like risking it, I hope you get a bag like our first one, in which case you'll be pleased.

No returns alllowed - thanks Amazon. I’ve purchased many of the smaller size bags in the past and have been extremely happy but it’s the first time ordering up the 5 lb bag. Unlike the smaller sizes the 5 lb bag is completely different, has tons of sugar on it, has different consistency and doesn’t have the same labeling. Will never buy the 5 lb bag again. Thanks for deceiving me and not allowing a return. See photos for proof - they look nothing like the rest.

This product is fantastic. It tastes exactly as it should. That sweet-ish, tart & tangy flavor you get with fresh Mango-without the trouble of peeling, slicing, or cutting, in a Fruit Roll-Up type of consistency. It's terrific as a snack & because you have that chew, it's very satisfying. It smells good right from the bag, no airing out necessary. This does come a little squished in the bag because the air is removed before sealing. But honestly, who cares? You can easily pull pieces away, or grab a handful to take with you. I grab a handful & put it in a Ziploc bag to snack out of. This particular choice is not sweetened, & really doesn't need it at all. I am usually a huge fresh fruit eater but good fresh fruit has been difficult to come by these days, so I have decided to try the next best thing-and Sincerely Nuts Dried Mango hasn't disappointed.The only reasons I gave just 4 stars are the price and availability. Although kind of reasonable, I imagine the cost could be better, & although there are several sizes to choose from, the sizes I want to purchase are not always available. Just be aware that it will be tough not eating it all the day it arrives!

These are the closest I've found to home dried mangos. There are people complaining that these are too dry, but I'm sorry to say that... dried mangos are supposed to be dry. The point is to preserve them. They are probably used to the overpriced kind in the grocery store that come in little bags and haven't been fully dried, which is basically false advertising.I eat these for snacks and keep them in my pocket when I'm skiing because they're generally nice and flat. Yes, they will stick together because the water has for the most part been removed and what remains is sugar and fibers.One star missing because some of the slices are obviously from unripened mangos. Seems to be a trend. That is the only thing wrong with these.

I received my second bag of the 3lb bag the other day after previously buying the 1lb bag. I had no complaints about the 1lb bag. The mango is just the right level of sweetness and a nice leathery texture. To those who have not tried this product: the mango is supposed to be thin, a bit tough, and a bit fibery. A different brand of these dried mangoes that tasted the exact same described them as "sun-dried mangoes" so I'd assume these are sun-dried as well. That natural process is what gives the mangoes the texture. However, these mangoes are fairly sweet and dry to the touch and overall has a fantastic flavor. I'd give the product itself 5 stars, but I have to take off a star because of a packaging issue.The 1lb bag did not have this problem, but when I got the 3lb bag, I noticed that the very large bag was used to house a smaller amount of mango and worse yet, the mangoes were clumped up in a block (as pictured). So, it requires some effort to pull apart the slices, but isn't too big of a deal. I just hope that any future orders won't have this problem and that it doesn't occur with the 5lb bag.

Had the organic mango slices. The first order was very tasty and even was a little tender / moist which was very good and soft for me. The second order , though I know they are dried, tasted like they sat for a while and were not that fresh. It still taste okay and taste like mangos so that is why they didn’t get 5 stars. The first bag I had a couple of weeks ago was 5 star worthy. The bag I had this week was not that great or didn’t live up tot he expectation I read.

Taste great! Very much appreciate the organic, natural dehydrated mangoes. It is sometimes easier to pack dehydrated fruit to go than fresh fruit. These are so popular in our house that I had to hide the bag so that I can use them for kids' lunches. They are an expensive treat, but a healthy treat and are delicious enough to be a dessert.These are chewy and for us they have just the right "chewyness". They are cut to a thickness that, for us, is great. Yes, some stuck together, but they were easy to peel apart if desired.Will re-order this 2lb bag again.Quick follow-up...on our 5th bag since writing the above review. Have to ration these with my kids since they eat them like chips. If they weren't expensive, I wouldn't ration them since they have nutrients, like vitamin C, and chips don't. June, 2017
