Dead or Alive 4

I forever love Dead or Alive video games. I love the characters, graphics, background stages, storyline, etc. I cannot get enough of the female characters especially. I highly recommend this game to people of all ages.After playing this game a few times, I realize how difficult it is. There are only three difficulty levels available: normal, hard, and very hard. The story mode is the most complicated one, I would say.This game is entertaining but seriously no joke either.

Gameplay: 8/10I was really disappointing when there was not even an Easy mode. And before anyone says "You just suck at the game" I can easily play True Fighter mode on Dead or Alive Dimensions for the 3DS. The CPU will always kick your butt unless with aLOT of trial and practice. It is VERY fun with more people and it is a great game to have when playing with friends.Story: 4/10I already know the story before buying the game and I thought it was fantastic. So why am I giving it a 4/10? It's because I got the story from Dead or Alive Dimensions. The story for DOA4 are similar, but most of the endings either not related or for fan service. All of the female endings (except for Kokoro, Tina, Ayane and Helena) are pretty much cinematic for perverts. I know that DOA has a history of showing of females as sex symbols, but it still really annoys me. If it was for DOAXtreme, then it's perfectly fine, but unless you are really into it, the story is just terrible.Graphics: 7/10The graphics we're a mix between good and OK. Cinematic though I hated most of the endings, are really high depth and the backgrounds on some of the stages are impressive, but at time I do manage to actually go through some of the particles. Characters we're not realistic, but it's not suppose to be. Which was perfectly fine to me. The breast physics we're mind blowingly unrealistic. I feel like the smallest bump makes the character's boobs bounce a lot. But honestly, after some time playing for a while,it's actually more funny than it being sexual.Other Notes: N/AOverall:7/10Buy Rent or Skip?:Buy if you are a big fan of DOA or if you want to play a fighting game with friends, other than that, you should rent it.

Dead or alive 4 is, like the title implies, the forth installment in the Dead or Alive series. Dead or Alive is similar to Virtua Fighter, Tekken, and any other 3D arena fighter that doesn't have weapons or let you fly around throwing fireball. You must learn combos and how to properly "catch" your opponents moves. It's an astounding game with a big touch of Japanese influence. All the characters speak Japanese and all the girls are extremely attractive. The humor might be an acquired taste but it shouldn't go over any ones head. The only bad thing I can think about Dead or Alive 4, and this isn't that bad, is that you must have an Xbox 360 to play it.

I used to love DoA. I played all the games from the first one on up. Admittedly, I am not very good, but with enough practice and determination, I was able to unlock everything in all the other games.I was severely disappointed, in this game. The graphics are really not that much better than DoAU, the new characters are lame, the unlockables for each character are limited (Remember DoAU, with 14+ costumes for most characters? Try 6-8, in this game), and the actual in-game fighting mechanic is way too unbalanced for anyone not completely devoted to this franchise to get into. And, don't get me started on the final boss (Who, unlike in past games, can't be avoided by playing Time-Attack, rather than Story mode).I'm going back to DoAU.

It arrived sooner than expected and it looks great for something that has “light wear.”

The condition of the game did not reach my expectation. Definitely avoid buying from deal tavern.

I received the game. But it did not come in very good condition. It has many scratches. This is acceptable at best.

I really like the older Dead or Alive games more than the current ones. This game is a lot of fun. The graphics are pretty good too. Much better than DOA 6, which is an absolute tragedy of a game.
