BelazuBeldi Preserved Lemons (Drained Weight 200 Net Weight 360 g)

I've always wanted to try preserved lemons. Having added one of these small fruits to a curry, a salad and bowl of cereal (mixture of all-bran, oats, banana, dried fruit & nuts), I can definitely say that these lemons are versatile. Not as bitter as fresh lemons and a great way to use this fruit in variety of dishes.

I am totally obsessed with Ottolenghi cookery books. Brilliant, tasty recipes but he does love a preserved lemon.I walked around Leeds market. I walked around Bradford market and I could not find preserved lemons. Amazon came to the rescue.

Used for a recipe no complaints

I use these lemons every week, and for me are an essential pantry staple.I've previously bought these in the shorter but wider jars and found them easy to get out of the jar, however I bought this particular taller but narrower jars (as they were at a considerable discount) and have found that getting the first lemon out of the jar an unnecessary struggle - but the lemons are just as tasty !I have tried other brands of preserved lemons, but these are my favourites.

These are lovely. Perfect for fish dishes as their flavour is quite strong.

It’s not a Moroccan dish without preserved lemon and I have used this particular brand in most of my tagine dishes. Definitely value for money and good quality.

amazing flavour, works well in savoury and sweet dishes

The lid was loose and there are marks inside the lid. I wish I’d read the other reviews stating similar issues.Can’t recommend this product.
