Super-Fine Semolina Flour For Pasta
My newest kitchen obsession is making pasta, and I've found that using semolina flour makes a huge difference. When I temporarily couldn't get Bob's Red Mill semolina, I turned to this Antico Molino Caputo version. After all, I love the company's 00 flour, so I trusted them to deliver good semolina. Wow. This reground semolina doesn't have the grittiness that other brands do because it's so fine. Although it needs a little more liquid to properly hydrate the dough, the resulting pasta is both smooth and strong.I've also used this to make Italian bread, and it works just as well there as it does with pasta. Again, because of how fine it is, you may have to add more liquid.Caputo makes excellent Italian flours, and this semolina is one of them. I've switched from Bob's Red Mill to this with no regrets.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Worth the price
Needed semolina flour to make fettuccine with my new pasta machine. The flour is very finely ground, worked great in the pasta machine and tasted great. Although the price as compared to hard store bought pasta is more, the value is in the freshness and taste. I also like that it is Non-GMO, free of additives and direct from Italy. A 2.2lb package is enough to make pasta for a few meals and well worth the price.

Not your ordinary US supermarket semolina
This is semolina flour, finely milled and (I think) sifted. It’s great for hand made or hand roller pasta. Not lumpy and bumpy, just substantial. Also it makes an easier to handle and not sticky dough.Family loved the lasagna and the vermicelli made from the extra dough.

Perfect for pasta (especially if you have "gluten issues"...I'll explain)
I bought this product because it is a product of Italy and well known. My daughter doesn't fare well with "American" garbage flour. Caputo flour (being from Italy) doesn't have the pesticides nor Roundup or GMO's used in USA flour. I thought my daughter had a gluten issue, but it was a poison issue. I made pasta from this flour and she LOVES it and no side effects. We also buy the 00 flour for bread making. This made a HUGE difference. Thank you Caputo! Now the whole family can have healthy wheat products that don't hurt their bodies. Side note: if you are literally allergic to gluten, of course it won't help to buy wheat flour, but consider the chance that it's not actually a gluten allergy, but what's been added/used to product the product instead.

Very good product
I like to make homemade pasta. Trying to find semolina flower locally is difficult and the stores that do carry it charge as much for one bag as this four bag package. It makes easy work as it is ground very fine for kneeding and has a good taste. I received many compliments.

Poor packaging for shipping
The product is good but delivery gets 1 star. They shipped without protecting these precious small bags of indium and when they arrived the bags were busted and I had durum all over my kitchen. I am buying another brand and hoping they take more care in shipping. This flour is too expensive to waste.

Good…but
The real thing. Great for pizza, pasta. Especially good as a robust replacement for flour when forming a pizza. Beware, the package materials are very fragile (think paper towel strength) and will fail suddenly (mine arrived all torn). Best to decant immediately.
