Disappointed you can not remove the key in the open position! I installed 4 on my camper doors, easy to install, BUT you can not remove the key to leave the lock opened, you would need to have separate loose key for each lock to leave the lock s opened.

The locks have only one setting to remove the key on it most be in the locked position to remove the key.

Very cheaply made. Lots of play inside the cylinder and tang too long to close properly. Plastic on key broke off on first use (this is likely due to the tang length hitting the floor of compartment). I ended up modifying the other tangs but still very sloppy fit. Sorry I waited past the return date to get these installed. Wiser for the experience!

Not the best product to protect your tools. Most tubular locks have 2 openings key goes in turn it take out on next hole. I have to turn it to lock and turn it back to remove key in sand direction. Look for a better option.

Good to change bin locks but found when locking, metal part of ‘key’ stayed in the cylinder and the blue plastic slipped right off. Nonetheless gorilla glue to the rescue!

Product was cheap material and easily broke , also it was nothing like described . Cheap flimsy keys and keys did not have blue covers like shown in picture. I bought specifically for the blue covers to color code with the item I was using them on. Very unsatisfied.

I would not recommend these at all! I purchased them to replace the locks on my rv and it was a big mistake! One of the keys snapped off with little to no pressure and a few of the locks won't unlock so we will have to pay to have it removed or try to drill it out. I am not one to right reviews typically but this purchase has been the worst ever. They aren't even salvageable to try and return!
