Great value for money

Let me start out by saying that these slip-on shoes are very comfortable... it was a game changer for me the first time I wore them. I suffer from health issues that impact my feet. My wife and I walk 4-5 miles every day. These walking shoes solved my problem. The only issue I had was proper fitment with my right foot, which is shorter than my left. My left fit perfectly. My right heel likes to walk its way out of the shoe. I put a foam shoe spacer in the heel of the right shoe, and that helped a lot. However, it is not perfect. I finally had to go with Skechers lace up walking shoes. I am a BIG fan of Skechers walking shoes. Especially, since I can purchase Skechers walking shoes here on Amazon between $40-70.

These walking shoes are great for just that -- walking. They are not a back country hiking shoe. I have both. This model of Sketchers have a nice squishy sole that surprisingly resists wear when used for things like an everyday house and errands shoe or working in my home shop for non-messy tasks. I still use a Dr. Sholes gel insert for contoured arch support.I originally also used them for daily 1.5 mile walks on my rural streets of tar and stone, but the upper material, while breathing very well, does stretch slightly. So now they are slightly too loose to use for fast walking. I'll get a half size smaller next time for exercise walking. Instead I now use my Velcro strap Sketchers for daily exercise walks & keep these for the rest of the day. VERY comfortable and excellent traction on highly polished store floors!

I purchased these for a trip to Italy. I knew I was going to be doing a lot of walking (4-8 miles daily). I took two other pairs of shoes for the trip. They were completely unnecessary. These Skechers made each step effortless. My feet never were fatigued. If you want the most comfortable shoes for casual wear, these are NUMBER 1 on my list.

Have bought other Skechers before, same size 13 wide, and they fit perfectly. But these are loose like my feel will slip out when walking. I'll buy other style next time.
