These noodles deserve a very big trophy or some elite prize...these noodles are the best! I ONLY buy this brand now, LITERALLY. I make 2 packs of noodles at a time which fills me up but doesn't make me feel stuffed which is great. I use 1 packet of sauce. To each their own...I recommend using 1 packet of sauce for 2 packs of noodles...one can always add an additional sauce packet. Each pack of noodles has a sauce packet inside of it. The sauce AND the noodles are out of this world AMAZING! I bought some for my boyfriend recently he was so excited about it. When I can I buy the largest pack. Delectable!!!!

This has such an amazing flavor! I'm in love with it! I eat it all the time now, which makes it unfortunate that I have to buy it on Amazon every time, but it usually gets delivered between 1 and 3 days, so it's better than others! 4 packs or 8 come in one order, so the price is a bit high, but the speedy shipping, great packaging and amazing flavor pretty much make up for it. I've purchased both the 4 and the 8 pack of these a few times now, and I am never disappointed. With the 8 pack, they come in 2 seperate packages of 4, but the packages are wrapped together nicely. The ramen itself is yellowish and the noodles have a nice thickness you want in this kind of ramen. The package has a vegetable packet with peas and carrots, that I cook with the noodles to help them reconstitute better and not have that dry powder feel to them, and it has a liquid seasoning packet, which I love that it comes that way instead of as a powder. There are black bean pieces in the sauce packet and I believe some type of meat or fake meat as well. If you don't want to add the sauce to the noodles and reduce the sauce on the stove, you'll want to drain all of the water out before you put in the sauce if you like a really thick sauce, or leave just a tablespoon or two of water to thin it out. It is a bit sweet, so if you're looking to add a little heat and flavor, I mix this with the Jjajang Hot Chicken Ramen and mix in some chili oil and it is out of this world. Also, this tastes amazing with eggs and fried spam. I prefer really soft boiled eggs or over easy, but any is good. The yolk to mix in with it is where the great new flavor comes from! Overall this may not be real jjajangmyeon, but if you think of it as it's own thing, you'll love it.

Theyre really good. My take is it taste more like a creamy beef noodle than a black bean taste. Its still good but its a little lackluster.

I bought two kinds of instant black bean noodles—Paldo and Ottogi—to compare the taste. But honestly, both are so delicious! If you’re Korean, you probably know that adding a bit of red pepper powder (about half or one spoon) at the end makes it even better. If not, you can try it. I’m so happy right now!

So as someone who has bought a lot of these (180+) I have seemingly found out there is two different versions of this brands noodles, for sake of explanation we will label them A and B, When it got type A I was instantly addicted, the sauce was thick and flavorful and plentiful in the packet, it had a darker coloring which appeared almost black when mixed in with the noodles, and there were chunks of bean as well as the tofu cubes, that variant I would without hesitation recommend to any who asked, it was a 9/10, this last pick up, i got the type B packs, the branding is much more minimalistic and when I opened the sauce pack I was taken a back, the once black thick full packet was now dark brown rather thin and scarce in comparison, when I mixed it with the noodles(which are seemingly the same between variants) the noodles were a dark brown coloring and though covered did not seem as full, the largest departure was the taste, the full savory flavor of type A made yer mouth sing, but this type B sauce is kinda bland, its not bad, but it also isn't anything to write home about, its a half step above the store bought noodles but not nearly as addicting as the Type A variant. It also seemingly only contains tofu cubelets. I would pause to suggest this variety to someone, as for the price I think ya can find better options, since I can guaranteed get type A again from another source I will likely save a pack of this and do a head to head comparison, and if possible update this review with photos of the two types. i didnt really like Jjajangmen. it was sweet but also had a beef flavor. it reminded me of a instant ramen froma grocery store. I had one, and i didn't like it. i seen Jjajangmen on tiktok and it looks really good. lq sad cause i really wanted to like it.
