Crystal clear
I was in the market for a fairly simple 4K monitor as a second monitor, I’d previously had a cheaper brand which failed after a few months. I was really impressed firstly with the packaging, very easy to get everything out and set up in minutes - no polystyrene to try and get rid of too! The screen uses a standard kettle lead for power, meaning you don’t have to try and hide a transformer block anywhere, ideal if you like a tidy desk. The USB-C option is great, no need to have separate chargers and USB cables going to your laptop, most monitor at this price point don’t have this! I’m using the screen with a MacBook Pro and the quality is perfect, colours look great! The settings of the monitor provide lots of different things you can change, I’ve fiddled with some display settings and it simply looks great. The build quality looks pretty good for the price range, and it’s very light - ideal for a monitor arm. The only downside is the refresh rate, it’s noticeable next to a 100Hz monitor and the MacBook display. Overall very good for the price point!

Great little monitor at a competitive price point
I’d purchased a Mac mini and quickly realised my existing monitor was not up to the job. A bit strapped for cash having invested in the Mac, I bought this for just £55 with an Amazon limited time deal which I thought was excellent. It has no surround to the screen to speak of so although it is actually the same size as my old monitor it looks much smaller and takes up less space a bonus for me as desk space was short. The display is crisp and the colours vibrant so I’m happy and I’m no longer struggling with furry text which was what I was getting with my old monitor. It’s easy on the eyes so hopefully no headaches. The worst thing is the controls which are very fiddly, but only need setting up once so not a major problem. Comes with a good HDMI cable with ferrite filters fitted. A nice touch. Update: In the end I returned this monitor. Whilst I loved most things about it, I realised I needed to use the controls more than I had anticipated and I just couldn't cope with them.

Great Budget Monitor to start- Easy on the Eyes, Works Well Even in Dim Lighting!
I’m very happy with this product. The display quality is well adjustable to newbies and colors look vibrant, and the text is crisp and clear. One thing I love is that it’s comfortable to use even in dim lighting. The screen isn't too harsh on my eyes, and I can work or watch videos for hours without discomfort. Setup was quick and easy, and the overall design looks sleek on my desk. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and eye-friendly monitor! It also can be tilted back and forth but not vertical ,has sturdy standbase and good bezel to display ratio on the panel dedicated to the pixel shift feature which basically moves the entire displayed content a fraction at timed increments to help prevent burn-in.

Perfect budget monitor
There's not a lot not to like about this monitor. I bought this as an additional monitor to my laptop for gaming during holidays back home. It does the job brilliantly, although I haven't tested it on intense games, but for slow paced games like XCOM, and American truck simulator it does the job perfectly. Initially I thought that the 2560x1440 won't be enough for more estate hungry applications like 3DSmax and photoshop as my main display at home runs at 3840x2160, but does the job fine, although (and quite logically) you will feel a bit confined in space at first while working. Packaging: Brilliant packaging, a tiny bit bulky BUT, the kit includes everything you need to set the monitor up and have it running in less than 5 minutes: An HDMI cable is included and you get 2 mains cables: One for UK use and one for European countries, which was a godsend as I moved this monitor abroad! Well done there AOC, huge kudos for that! Ergonomics: Only 2 degrees of freedom in adjusting movements: tilt back and front and left and right. Unfortunately you cannot adjust the height. Fortunately I solved this by putting it atop a small but deep baking tray. My mom's still looking for that tray but hey, I got my display on the correct height. Also the function buttons are underneath and it gets quite a bit to get used to in order to navigate through the various menus. Image quality: if you are on a budget and cannot spend a few hundreds for a spare monitor, this is total value for money! I would even buy this for normal everyday use like web browsing, words, excels, emails and watching p0rn of course. It does all extremely well that and leaves the competition behind by at least 20-30 smackaroonies. Bear in mind though that this is a £120 monitor, and performs excellently for that value. It is NOT a gaming monitor, so do not expect super performances from it. Extremely pleased with it, I would like at least one extra powered USB port on it, but you can't have everything. For £120 this is a blind choice for a budget monitor. I think after the holidays I will buy one or two more to accompany my main display at home. Invest without fear on this.

Great at this price point
Perfect size and height with decent forward/ backward adjustment (tilt). So easy to put together - one-click and the stand/base is on. Decent connections with 1DP and 2 HDMI but the case below the ports can make it a tad fiddly to fit some cables depending on design. Standard headphone jack. They have the world’s tinniest, useless speakers though. I use separate speakers so not an issue but beware if on a budget and planning to use in-built speakers. Good colour and resolution. Can appear a little washed out in bright light. Not good enough quality for gaming IMHO but perfect for my use as office monitors. Thin bezels are ideal for 2 side-by-side. Decent range of controls on the actual monitors too, just tad fiddly but same with all monitors in my experience. At this price point vs. quality I’m happy and would buy again.

TOTALLY and entirely exceeded every last requirement.
I only wanted a basic extended duplicate monitor solution for multiple display layouts which has effectively doubled my average throughputting in my profession while working in my home office setup and also for relaxing while streaming media or researching and reading, or interacting with exchange clients while utilizing multiple chart layout indicators and time-frames interchangeably. It has exceeded every last expectation I had of it, at a criminally lower than anticipated price point.
