This. This book is ALL I USED to study for the NCLEX-RN. I know new gen is rolling out in April, but whoever needs to see this, get Kaplan’s newest prep book. It took me about 2 weeks to get through the content & chapter quizzes, then did the 180-question practice exam. The day before my actual exam, I didn’t do any reviewing whatsoever. I passed in 75 questions with half of them being SATA. If you kept up with the content in school, then I’m telling you, their prep book is IT. No UWorld, no Archer, no Qbanks, absolutely NONE of it is necessary. Good luck, future RNs!

I used this book, Saunders comprehensive review and UWorld to study for the NCLEX. I got this book about a month before I took the test, and it was great in preparing me. The book is not very big, but it is packed with information and test questions. I 5/5 recommend this book! Please read the whole book, and you will get a better understanding of NCLEX style questions. I did not use any of the additional material that the book provided, but it would've been a good idea to look at it.

Bough this book near the end of nursing school and started to read it prior to the last week. I learned the decision tree prior to our in-class Kaplan review so I already knew the process prior to the in-class review. After graduation, my test was scheduled in a month but I didn't start really studying until 2 weeks prior to my test. Got through the entire book by the time of my test. Love the 265-question practice test to prepare for the long, tiring test. Love the rationales for each question and answer choice. Passed with 90 questions. Highly recommend to brush up on some things and quickly learn rationales you were kind of confused about.

I would recommend this book to anyone studying to take the NCLEX. It definitely shows you how to look at the question in different ways to figure out what it's asking you

I don’t usually do reviews but I felt the need to do one for this product. This product is amazing! I wish I got this much sooner. I was scoring terribly on Kaplan q banks until I got this book. Now I’m meeting benchmark scores. I start by reading the chapters and making notes and highlighting. Then I go through and do the quizzes at the end and correct myself. After I go into Kaplan online and complete 50 q banks to test my knowledge and see how I score. If I don’t meet bench mark I do a little bit more studying in the book to see what I missed and review my answers and take another q bank quiz. It’s very time consuming but so worth it! I can’t stop recommending this book to my classmates. I take my secure predictor tomorrow morning and I am feel much more confident about it!

I use this book for the questions, I didn’t not go in-depth reading, none of that. If you have short time until your exam, I suggest just do the practice questions in it. They were really helpful. I was like comparing the rationale between Kaplan and sounder’s. Believe me, you do want to read and understand the rationales. Very important when studying for the NCLEX

This book not only helps you with the questions but it teaches you how to look at the questions and how to figure out the answers of the questions that you might not know during the test.

This book showed me way more tips than my instructors ever covered. The questions were difficult at first, but I suggest you take the time to read the tips & strategies. I passed the NCLEX on the first try & this was all I used!
