Best money I ever spend in my entire life!
I make fries like 2 to 3 times a week I haven't bought a frozen fry since I bought it. My kids even use it it works so well and it's very sturdy. I don't anticipate having any problems with it had it a couple months months now and used it easily 25 times 4 to 9 potatoes at a time Sometimes use it for tomatoes and other vegetables works well.

You don't have one? What are you waiting for?
This thing is awesome.!!!! My sister owned a food truck and I loved working with her on it. She had a fry cutter that was a twist down handle. Not the fondest of that model. It worked ok but was a lot of twisting on that handle. No this baby! Yeah, It cuts good, is sturdy and best of all is the fact that I can have a batch of french fries cut up in less than a minute, and the little cube potatoes and onions in less than 5 minutes. I do a lot of cooking for events at out church and I know this will come in handy on those occasions also. There is only 1 thing I would add to make this a 10 star cutter and that would be some kind of suction cups on the feet. But I also like the fact that it doesn't have them so I am at a draw on this issue.I put the entire cutter on a cookie sheet to slice the potatoes and it catches all of them for me. I don't seem to have a pan or bowl that will fit between the legs. But still better then the one that my sister had by a long shot. Hers had to be attached to the counter (with screws) and you had to try and balance something on the legs to catch the fries. Now that was a hassle!!!!! Especially in a fast paced business with customers watching the entire time. Wish we would have had this one when we were doing that!!!I would say this is definately worth the price and possibly even more (don't be getting any dumb idea on raising the price there people) and the ease of use is great. If you don't have one and you love fries as much as my family does this is a must have gadget. Mine never leaves the cabinet it is used so often.

Blades broke within a week
This unit gets heavy use on a daily basis cutting carrots but still would have expected the blades to last a little longer. It's a good unit otherwise but be prepared to replace the blades frequently. Also, it does come with 2 replacement blades but they are REALLY difficult to replace (took over an hour) so may have to buy the complete cutting place for $13 or so.This would probably work well for softer veggies and less use.

works good if you read the directions!
For all the people who did not read the directions! In big black letters it says not to cut sweetpotatoes! They are to hard! I make fries from Russets and it works great on big large potatoes! One tip...I dont have the one with the long handle on it. I push down on the small handle and thenlift it up and take several hard downward motions with it. Push it up and down hard and it willmake great fries.... If you have skinny little wimpy arms...do not buy! So put your big boy pantson and it will work great.

Easy to use
I discovered how to use this product by contacting the seller and I was very happy with the video I received. I was relieved when I found out I was using it the right way :)So I’ve had this item for a little bit over 2 weeks I think, long enough for me to get a chance to dice a variety of veggies. I already diced potatoes, onion, Serrano peppers, and tomatoes and I’m very very happy with how fast and easy it has made my life! I have tried different products in the past and they were okay but this one was the best one so far. The reason why I bought this dicer to begin with is that I sell food at my husbands job. I prepare everything at night and when I don’t have a chance to prep at night I do it in the morning and I don’t have to wake up earlier because it only takes me 10 minutes to make pico de Gallo AND dice potatoes!! The cleaning is easy, I use a brush I got at dollar tree just to make it faster and save water too, but you can just use water pressure. I totally recommend this item!

?? Black substance coming off the metal surface??
My Happybuy Commercial Vegetable Fruit Chopper has some sort of powder like black substance coming off the metal surface every time after dishwasher (see pictures). I took some tape samples and waiting for the lab results. I will keep information for future reference.Never seen such a thing in kitchen tools.Good chopper, if you don't mind those thing in your French fries or fruits.

Works okay
Bought this for use in a small restaurant kitchen, over all it does what we need it to do but I wish I would have ordered the model with the handle. It works, but you have to push the block down multiple times to get it to push a tomato or onion through. Also some what difficult to clean but we have had similar choppers before and that seems to be a universal issue
