Works like magic
Have a bunch of kids? How about older kids who act like they don't know proper hygiene, so you spend three years occasionally "reminding" them by getting into your bathing suit and showing them where to wash? How about when they tell you they brush their teeth in the morning, but aren't babies anymore (and you've shown them a million times), so you ask them to brush them again, and they come down ten minutes later saying "good to go, mom!"? Well, here's a little hack for ya.Buy these tablets. First kid may be like "oh they just don't work". Or... "I don't brush my teeth very well", when their entire mouth turns dark purple. Easy fix... Just do it yourself. Yeah, I missed some spots but they are light purple. They will realize you caught them in (another) lie, laugh, then rebrush their teeth. But, it won't end there. Because they now know you've got some witchy magic lie-proof stuff happening."Boys, when you're done with your showers, come down here and let me spray the "dirt-find" spray on your bodies and "grease find" spray on your hair- just to make sure we didn't miss anything".Five minute showers have now turned into 20 minutes. You're welcome. My 21 month old loves baths and brushing her teeth and I get treated like a bad mom when I ask my 8/10 year old boys to.Yes, I'm salty.

Honest review—guys it’s not THAT bad.
I’ve been wanting to try these ever since my last dental appointment. I was very reluctant about the brand.First, I didn’t have any bad reaction. I would sample on one tooth to be safe.Second, it tastes SWEET! Like a flinstone vitamins texture. Finally, I disposed the excess in the toilet/trash instead of the sink bc of the reviews. But even after brushing my teeth there were no stains at all.It brushed right off. The only thing that lingered was the purple on my tongue but it’s really faint. Nothing on my lips (I’m tanned complexion)Excited to make my family members try it so I can laugh in their faces lol.

Not bad
Didn’t come with directions which was a bummer. I’m not an expert, but three different places told me to crunch the tablet after brushing, swish it around with the saliva in your mouth, and spit out the excess. Then you’ll see where your kiddos need a little more attention when brushing. Also, one YouTube video said to use them about once a week, but again, I’m not an expert in any way.I used one and it tasted like bad bubble gum flavor. I accidentally swallowed my saliva instead of spitting it out, but I haven’t killed over. My tongue is still purple after brushing again, but I could see a few spots on my teeth where I needed to brush better.Overall, not bad. It’s cool for kids, but I doubt they’ll be jumping for joy at the taste. For best results, talk to your dentist for directions.

Cool for little kids
My 4 year old came across YouTube videos where a guy does reviews on toothbrushes and also used this product. I thought it would be pretty cool to buy for my son. He can see where he missed brushing his teeth, he will come to me and say mom are there any purple spots left on my teeth and most of the time there always is. So he goes back untill he scrubs it all off. These are perfect for little kids and helps teach them better brushing skills.I on the other hand am pregnant and am nervous to try one, I don't no how they taste so I cannot comment on if they have a taste or not.

Works as advertised. Should ponder ingredients.
Tablets worked exactly as advertised and intended.Be advised, there is no caution not to swallow (instructions say to rinse and 'expectorate', aka spit). These have some serious dye! Had to toss the toothbrush I used afterwards as it was never going to be the same again.there is no indication of ingredients or dyes, just a lot code and exp date so I would strongly advise avoiding ingesting this product in any way. These tablets are obviously not officially a 'food' but it's in your mouth (instructions say to 'wipe teeth with tongue'). Kinda wished I'd thought about that a bit more before I bought them. With all the recent concern being applied to things like colorants in candy where the dye is one of the minor ingredients, one should probably ponder using a product where dye is likely the primary ingredient.I used one tablet to confirm the effectiveness of an ultrasonic cleaner, then threw out the rest. I certainly would never use these on a regular basis.

Works well but watch for messes
We've been avoiding the dentist during Coronavirus. Not wanting to end up with a family full of cavity holders, we gave these plaque disclosing tablets a whirl. They seem to work just as you would expect them to work. I and my 5-year-old tried them tonight. Chew it up, swish it around, spit it out. Look at your disgusting purple mouth. And then brush. And then brush again. And then possibly brush again. When your teeth no longer have yucky pink or purple spots on them, then you can stop brushing. As other reviewers have noted, this stuff is messy. My 5-year-old got splatters of it everywhere. But the stains came right off with a magic sponge, so all is well.

Try others!
If you think these are great, you haven’t tried others. These stained my son’s toothbrush, and where he spit in the sink pink. He couldn’t get it off his lips or tongue! Also, they came in a generic white bag with a printed sticker, no official box, no brand name, or anything! Even after brushing the last of it off his teeth, they remained a purple and red tint! These are awful!

Eww gross they work!
Work as intended. Great to show me that my older kid is ready to brush on his own while my younger one definitely isn't.
