Loved the product until I realized what it has done to my floors. Very upsetting. No moisture or anything like that. Rubber leaves residue.

So incredibly disappointed! Ordered multiple Gorilla Grip rug pads in Aug 2019. Made in the USA (see pic of packaging that came with pad). Excellent quality and the 1/4” thickness was so plush. Happy to reorder in Feb 2021 for new rugs and what arrived was nothing like the previous product. Thickness was less than 1/4” and green felt (previous was grey blend). Also FALSE ADVERTISING. This listing specifies “Import Designation: Made in USA”. Packing clearly states Made in China (see pic). I intentionally seek out, buy and use products made in America and support American manufacturing whenever possible. Buying local and keeping my money in our community is very important to me. What happened between 2019 and 2021, Gorilla Grips? Please correct your listing. Sadly, I am returning all the rug pads I just bought. Hope to find an alternative truthfully made in the US.

Purchased this based on the 1,200 4 1/2 star reviews. Not sure what all the fuss is about. Maybe the problem is with the larger size. I ordered a 7' X 10' and it shipped folded in half and rolled up, rubber sides back to back. Obviously stored this way in a very hot climate/warehouse for a very long time because the rubber sides were completely stuck to each other and had to be pried apart. You could hear a ripping noise and see the rubber backing had started to breakdown. Part of the rubber grip was pulled off when I ripped the two sides apart. Grip and rubber obviously compromised, returning this.

I never do reviews but this is AMAZING. I tried two other options for keeping my rug in place on my pergo floors (mat and tape) I took a chance on this and it was worth every penny. the rug does not budge! and to put things in perspective.... I have a 150 lb great dane and an energetic 7 year old who like to chase each other around the house and roll around on the floor. I am so happy with it. Previously i was readjusting the rug ever 10 minutes when the dog ran through the room, and since putting down this mat I havent had to touch it.

How hard can it be to buy a rug pad, you ask? Harder than you think. When I did some cursory research, I found instances when cheap pads had left grid marks in the finish on wood floors, pads not cut to size to fit under rugs (no, I am not going to spend my time cutting pads to size). Not to mention that most pads are made of polyvinyl (and other synthetic materials) and are a nightmare both for the environment and the indoor air in your home. So. I bought a Gorilla Grip pad for a 5X8 rug that we are using under a Nordic Track exercise machine. The pad fit perfectly without sticking out anywhere. The rug does not move even though there is a lot of lateral force on it at times. And best of all, zero chemical odor and a lovely feel under the foot when you step on the rug. Worth every penny. Don't ruin your rug, your floor finish and poison your indoor air with an inferior rug pad. And no, I have absolutely no relationship with this company, nor was I given any special deal to try the product. I'm just a regular Amazon customer who made a purchase.

I searched so many reviews and products and finally landed on this one. I love it. Rubber grip on the bottom latches on to my wood floor. It was easy to unroll. No smell. It needed to be cut by a smidge. Nothing crazy. My husband was able to run a razor blade easily.

Purchased this to go under a large but thin area rug.Pad is felt on one side and rubber non skid backing on the other.I have a disabled family member who gets around with the aid of a walker.I needed this pad to insure the carpet doesn't move when he's rolling on top of it.There are thinner and cheaper pads out there but for me it's an issue of safety and comfort.With the thinner pads you often don't get the holding power or the plush padding like you do from this pad.With a higher quality pad I won't have to replace it as often either.And who really wants to deal with rolling up a carpet, moving furniture, etc just to lay another cheap pad down in a few years?

Arrived sealed in plastic, however was sent stupidly folded in half and rolled up, and therefore had a deep groove and wrinkles lengthwise that ruined the smoothness of the pad. On the rubber side there were 3 spots of some unknown substance which was very off-putting, making one think some glue had leaked through or it was soiled-the overall rubber side of the pad was dirty! Also, the rubber side smelled unbelievably bad! I have ordered similar pads from a rug cleaning business that were in perfect condition with no bad smells. This product was completely unsatisfactory.

It arrived needing a bit of trimming -used a box cutter- but it was great because it was originally cut a bit over-sized ostensibly to be sure it would fit the intended mat, above. It appears so far to be of good quality. it's dense enough, but not hard. it's beside a door, and helps to cut the under-door draft too.

Great product. My rug sticks to floor like glue now. We love sitting on our rug as the padding provides a nice cushion yet it is firm. I can vacuum the rug with it moving in the slightest.
