Teen Angst? Yeaaah...
First of all let me start off by saying that this was a fantastic read! I was not 100% sure how the book would be set up and when I started off reading it and there was like a collection of stories about Ned's life as things would happen to him, I was a little bit apprehensive. I have read memoirs and similar books before, but none that have been set up this way, now I ask myself why other books aren't like this? I loved it.You are invited to sort of "grow up" with Ned by living out his experiences as he really did. Being a teenage guy myself, I felt at times like he was writing about my life, haha. Nice to know other people go through similar things. It was a very personal book for him to allow to be published, so it was really like reading something special and invitation only! Such a good read, I give it 5 stars.

Wouldn't Reach for It First
This book is good if you like Ned Vizzini's other books. I would recommend his book It's Kind of a Funny Story over Teen Angst. This is an easier read, as it is mostly a coming of age book. It's a lighter read than It's Kind of a Funny Story.

Teen Angst
unusual book. Name really fits. I believe the author has passed away now so I will never know if this was really an autobiograhical sotry or not. It would seem it was.Now sad to read but still good.

Not bad, not bad at all
I have been a fan of Ned V for a while now, and this is a great accompany book to "Its Kind of a Funny Story"This book seems like Craig, the character in IKOFS, is directly the fictional version of Ned, the person in this quasi bio.Gives a great perspective on NY education, something that I know nothing of, and the difficulties of being a high school overachiever. NYC seems like such a lively town and Ned actually tells us how he lived in it, and was not a huge partier, or nerd, but was an average kid with dorky interests and a liking of beer. Not bad, fun easy read, not too much philisophical insight, but a great book overall

Teen Angst
I really did enjoy this - one feature I especially liked were all the footnotes which recommended a lot of indie/alternative songs :)

Nostalgia
I loved the notes at the bottom of the pages. It was a good read. Very funny reminded me of some silly things I did growing up.

Really relatable
As some have said, it just ends. But that's how it is, I would like a college sequel though, the more the merrier :)

Excellent
This book I found not as good as "its kind of a funny story" but as an autobiography goes it's great

Controversial opinion about the book.
I did enjoy the book, but I could in no way relate to the main character of the book—which happens to be the author himself. At first, I even felt a little dismissive, but it got better as I went on reading.I only got the “hang of it” when there were like 50 pages to go. Such a shame. The book basically goes through the author’s teenage. Let’s just say I liked the last teenage years better—I’m gonna say the parts I liked most have to be Junior and Senior.Because it’s some kind of autobiography, some stories were a bit pointless. But, quoting the book, “It’s life! Life doesn’t have tidy endings.”On the other hand, it sure sounded very natural and down-to-earth.I overall liked the book, even though it didn’t really meet my expectations. Not that it disappointed me, because it didn’t, but I didn’t have a clue I was actually going to read something like that and I didn’t see it coming.

Absolutely awesome/Absolument génial
On a personal level, having to deal with mental issues taught me a lot, and made me go through a lot. And this book is just {i have no words}. Buying it for yourself is the best way to figure out how awesome this book is.Oh and technical part : arrived perfectly, and smelled pretty good.
