Regardless of the epoxy resin used, no epoxy resin is permanently UV-resistant. The hardener is the most important feature of yellowing resistance. The hardener of our epoxy resin coating and epoxy resin has a very good UV resistance. However, we recommend using a UV blocker, especially for outdoor applications. This significantly increases UV resistance. Add approx. 1% of this UV stabilizer to the total weight of epoxy resin and hardener to prevent discoloration from sunlight. You can mix the UV blocker in the resin beforehand or add it after mixing the mixture. The UV stabilizer does not affect the colour or transparency of the epoxy.
