MetallorTune-O-Matic Style Guitar Stop Bar Tailpiece for LP Les Paul SG Style Electric Guitar Parts Replacement. (Black)

I thought the angled stoptail on my Gretsch Electromatic Double Jet looked too faux vintage, so I replaced it with this product. It fit perfectly and as you can imagine there isn't any functionality or tonal difference. I couldn't find any quality problems with the stoptail.In one of the images you can see that the strings seem to line up perfectly - if anything looks "off" there, it's just the photo - in person the string holes looked exactly the same.Ironically, now seeing it with the flat stoptail, it looks a little too plain and like it's trying too hard to look like a LP DC, lol. If you've got one of these, you can take a look at the image to help you decide. Anyway, the product looked flawless and I can swap back and forth during string changes if I want.

Needed to replace the stock tail piece on my Xavier, Les Paul, because it had no give on the posts, and was very difficult to raise or lower.I never purchased Metallir hardware before, and I chose this because it was the best price with the best reviewsLet me tell you it’s solid heavy had no sharp ends no scratches, and its posts and the detail piece itself fit perfectly. It may be in my imagination, but I think my sustain increased with this part. Even if it is not the case, the part has done everything I needed to do, and really has exceeded my expectations.

I bought 2 of them. I converted my 2 guitars with gold accessory parts. It fit the epiphone les Paul frehley tribute guitar perfectly. The Gibson studio les Paul did not have the proper size holes to fit the receptacles so I had to drill holes out larger and install with wood glue. I would have preferred to not do it that way but it worked out ok

This thing works great on my Turbo LP. Nothing but non-Gibson on the fibson.

Ordered for an SG I was building. Great tailpiece, but the black paint used on it is not conductive, and therefore screws up your grounding loop to the control cavity. This was tested by noticing a small chip in the paint on the tailpiece lug on the grounding side, and touching it to check hum removal. The spot with no paint when contacted by my hand produced the hum cancelation that is supposed to occur throughout the entire tailpiece.Good sturdy bridge, not so good for grounding. Maybe if you ground your bridge instead that might work better, but that's not typically done.

It’s a great tailpiece for cheap. Nice, tight fit on my LP. Worth the money, specially since it’s cost efficient.

This tailpiece fits perfectly on a standard Les Paul, which is great. But what I really like about it even more is it has density in its content. I don't care for the new aluminum ones, Glad to have found this one.
