SferraCeline - Throw Pillow 51X71 Mushroom Cotton

This throw looked good until I washed it (which I did right away due to the odor it had from the plastic bag it came in). The throw came out of the washer with all kinds of fiber from the tassle ends stuck to the throw. In drying, I removed handfuls of fiber from the dryer screen. After drying, this throw was still covered with all kinds of fibers stuck to it. They will not shake out, and I cannot get them off with a lint roller. I washed and dried according to packaging instructions, and am very unhappy. I just sent a complaint through Amazon to the seller, and they have replied that they will send a new one to me - so I am pleased that they are standing behind this product. If you buy one, do not put it in the washer!

We already had two of the Sferra Celine blankets. The first was a Christmas gift we received, and we loved it so much that I bought a second. I've purchased this throw as a wedding gift for others, because it is such a beautiful, lux blanket. It is heavy brushed cotton, so it is warm and very soft (not itchy at all—it's 100% cotton).I've washed both of our Celine blankets four times (in an HE washer—so no central agitator) and they've held up beautifully. I cannot understand the poor reviews. Maybe people reviewed for the wrong product??This is my absolute favorite blanket. I just bought another for wedding gift, and because the mushroom color was on sale for such a great price, I think I'll buy a third for our own house.

This throw was in a hotel I stayed in back in NYC and I knew I had to have one. It's especially soft, warm and cozy and really well-made. The knit is a very neutral design that will go well in almost any living room or bedroom.

I bought two throws and the weight is wonderful and they drape beautifully. I am experiencing these as being a bit itchy however. I have washed them once, mostly because there was a smell that was a bit odd. They washed and dried nicely. But still there is a bit of an itchy quality. These are 100% cotton so I am not sure what the problem is. I am going to wash again and see what happens. I may be sensitive, but this surprised me. I am optimistic that another wash will do the trick. I will update my review if the problem goes away. I have a Sferra coverlet and I just love it!

Wasn't sure about the color but turns out a fabulous neutral. Enjoy it every evening and looks good on my bed.

These throws are machine washable, super soft, and just a lovely, lux way to add texture without breaking the bank. I picked up my first one (navy) at Salt and Sundry in DC but was THRILLED to find them on Amazon.

Gorgeous on arrival, but shed in the wash and the fringe is ruined. Will have to spend a few hours reweaving and tieing to reclaim some of past glory. The search for a handsome and washable (allergy friendly) throw continues...
