The author provides us with much needed historical information on the Japanese invasion of Malaya, Burma, Borneo, the Celebes and Java. If you are WWII history buff of this area of conflict then this book is for you. It is well written and easy to understand. The best coverage of these conflicts I have been able to find.

IT FILLED IN THE GAP IN MY SET AND IT IS A NICE CLEAN BOOK MANY THANKS

I have read the Vol. III (purchased from Amazon) and realised that I have to read the Vol.II as well. Yet to go into thorough study but have already realised that I may need the Vol. IV as well. This work on the WWII runs into a series of volumes and judging from the one which I have already read, the rest also may be very interesting and useful to understand the overall picture of the last great war from the military perspective.Packaging, timely delivery the brand new smell plus print quality of the book is excellent.
