The plastic face shield is fine, has good coverage, fits me comfortably and was a great bargain. It is not rated as a medical device but I can see it could stop some small volumes of splashy liquids from hitting my eyes, nose, mouth and face. I believe it would be too thin to qualify as a safety goggle such as used in construction; I would use something else if my job required a professional rating and supplies were available. I would have given it five stars for what it is. However, when I bought it the title talked about a hat, the description called it dust proof and the image showed someone wearing a hat and face mask in addition to the clear face shield. I’m giving it four stars since neither any hats nor masks were in the package when it arrived. I consider this a fairly minor issue in light of the price and the fact that for me, the shield should do fine for my intended purpose...light duty protection...with an adequate face mask...maybe backed up by another pair of glasses...when shopping if worse comes to worse with Covid-19. I’m not returning the product for a refund. Your mileage may vary as they say. Stay well.

The wording in the advertisement for this product seems to be misleading folks into thinking a hat comes with this also. When I received this order (ordered in May, received it rather quickly a few days later) it came with 10 fully assembled face shields (no hats). It also came individually bagged, which is a bonus.Please don't forget to PEEL the CLINGY FILM from BOTH SIDES of this face shield. I removed the inside and wore it not knowing to peel the outside (which is harder to see and to peel off). Once I realized I needed to also peel the outside off as well, the shield became even more clearer.Wearable and functionable.Please WEAR face MASKS along with these shields. The masks protect your nose and mouth; these face shields protect your eyes. The COVID-19 virus is said to be airborne, so the eyes are vulnerable also.They are good for sharing; shared with family and neighbors and they all appreciated it.UPDATED FOR CLARITY:If these shields continue to be individually bagged (as mine were), they are good for sharing (while in their own bag). Its convenient and safe to give someone a new, unused individually bagged face shield with the clingy film still attached to the shield (tell them to peel off the clingy film from both sides of the shield.)

This is a terrific product, but only when you remove the film from BOTH SIDES. The directions such as they are do not mention this and It is NOT obvious, especially on the front, and this is why some people are giving this 1 star because of visibility. One you get the film off both sides, it is crystal clear. I wear it when seeing clients or when I need to be face to face without being able to maintain social distancing.One other thing: I wear a men's extra large hat, and I found the band a little tight. I bought "mitten clips" on Amazon that you would use to attach a mitten to a toddler's jacket to keep them from getting lost - they have a metal clip on both ends of a short piece of elastic. So I cut the strap that holds the face shield in the center of the back and inserted the mitten clip, which made the strap about 2 inches longer and very comfortable for me.

I bought this right after Covid-19 hit. The plastic was not clear enough to see well. It did offer protection for the eyes which is important, since the mask will fog up any eye wear. I no longer use these since vaccines came out, only a mask. I just wish the plastic was made better and more clear

Love these shields. So light weight I forget I have it on some times. I'm a dental hygienist so I need to see small details. The shields are very clear. There are protective films on each side of the shield you have to remember to remove. The elastic strap is very comfortable and hold well. We have been washing gently with soap at the end of the day and they wash up nicely. Highly recommend.

This thing is NOT even close to clear plastic. Like looking through a very very very very dirty window. Fit is comfortable. I'd send it back but need it now. ArrrrrrgghgghghhgghUpdate - I tried to peel off the film and could not get anything to peel off. Even got my husband to try, After writing my review, I checked the reviews of others and say that I should try again. Once I read the reviews I tried again and it's now clear and perfect..

Item arrived over a month earlier than expected and is exactly as described. My only issue is in just 2 weeks the price raised by $12. Companies need to stop price gouging items their customers need to stay safe. I was going to order more but will look for another seller that isn't raising the price.

they were shipped faster than I thought which was quite impressive. materials worth the price except the funny label "face shield" on them. people stare at me when i wear them in public. i sort of feel awkwardbut it is another option when you do not want or have to wear face masks. (i have skin irritation putting rubbers on my ears)
