uniball™ 207 Impact Gel Pens, Bold Point (1.0mm), Assorted Colors, 4 Pack

Love the bold 1.0mm line that's easy for me to see with my low vision. Second ,love the waterproof ink that doesn't smear after it dries if my dog drools on my writing. I'm left handed and don't have a problem with smearing. The ease of writing is so good with my painful, arthritis hands. Added security with your checks as this ink cannot be erased or removed with bleach by forgers. First time I've used the stick pens , they seem smoother lay down of ink than the retractable pens. I been buying uniball signo pens for a couple years now. Very pleased.

Great pens, easy to write smooth

I am very happy with the bold lines it produces on paper.

We recently had a check that got "lost" in the mail. So far, it doesn't appear that someone tried to cash it. However, that did get me thinking about all the unfavorable possibilities. I purchased the Uniball Signo 207 Impact Gel Pen based on a recommendation I saw in an online newsletter. It explained that the ink used in this particular pen is specially designed to bond with the paper to resist "check-washing", which is the process of erasing details from checks to allow them to be rewritten. As a bonus, the pen writes very smoothly and is comfortable to use. At the present time, I am happy with my purchase.

Either the description wasn't accurate or I didn't read it properly. I got these pens for when I need to write a check - because they've been publicized as harder for thieves to forge. Unfortunately, I didn't realize they wrote such a thick line. They're definitely not fine point, and I wouldn't even call them medium. They do write smoothly, but just know it will be a very bold line.

My favorite go to pen. Writes seamlessly

Technology columnist Kim Kommando recommended these pens to prevent check washing of stolen checks, an all too frequent occurrence for anyone who has to mail a check. While many people have switched to using credit cards or paying bills on line, inevitably, there are times where a check has to be written. The ink is bold and looks very permanent, I set aside these pens exclusively for writing checks to help them last even longer. With a four pack of them, that might be quite awhile before I reorder.Don't risk a check being washed and altering of the payee and amount, consider this pen as your solution!

These pens are a joy to write with. The ink seems to flow along and makes your writing easier. One very minor complaint is you have to remove the cap in order to write and after so many years of retractable pens it takes a bit of getting used to.

These pens are really wonderful, as I like bold pens they are perfect.

Best pens I have ever bought. Or used. So much ink. But not smeary

There is no other pen on the market that I love as much as these pens. They say they are bold, and they are true bold. The gel does not dry out like some gel pens. The gel flows, and the 1.0 thickness rocks. I bought other Uni-ball pens when I couldn't get these replacement ones, and they are ok, but do not compare to these ones. Of course it is a preference. Some like fine, medium, and some like bold, or boldest. These are what I would say are boldest. These are the 207 Impact Signo Bold 1.0 pens, if it says anything else, they are not the same as these. Very hard to find for a reasonable price though.
