Josh's Frogs 1/4" Banded Crickets (120 Count)

Ordered 120 of the 1/4" banded crickets for my bark scorpions. The crickets arrived on time and remarkably well packaged. They're were packed inside a plastic container with a couple carrots and egg crates. This container was then placed into a box. This made it really easy to transfer them to the cricket pen.Not a single dead cricket. They're all happily hopping around the pen. Sizing is fairly consistent among the entire batch.So much easier than hoofin' it over to a pet shop. Scorps started NOSHIN' on these the moment I dropped them in. Highly recommend these guys for your feeder cricket needs!

I have ordered crickets twice. The first time, some were alive, but there is no way the count was correct. The size was good though.The second time, they were all tiny and all dead.Buy local. Don’t gamble on a terrible product.

I received my package of crickets and they were all alive give or take a few. The crickets arrived packed in an isolated box with a heat pack. I had a delivery date for a much later date but got them 5 days sooner than expected. I am highly impressed and I’m glad I didn’t listen to the poor reviews and ordered anyways. I don’t like waiting too long on live insects for shipping. These took too long. Some arrived dead and honestly, these are classified smaller than they should be. I know playing semantics will say “They are exactly 1/4” but in the real world of reptiles and amphibious life that consumes crickets, nobody calls these tiny guys 1/4” and you know it. More than likely won’t buy again.

All crickets arrived alive. I bought this size because I was feeding a small toad, a medium toad and a large toad. They are quite small but I managed to get the littlest guy to eat, which was my concern, and he's grown enough that we sized up. Since then, we have added a 4th guy, and he's even smaller than the previous small toad, so we're buying these again for him. All of the other crickets I've received from Josh's have had great longevity, but with feeding the three toads combined, these went fast and we were out in a few day (still longer than pet store crickets were lasting). I am planning to separate the smallest toad into his own enclosure until he's a little bigger so that I can make sure he's getting the small crickets, so if anything changes regarding the longevity, I'll update here, but so far, so good.

I bought this product after seeing the mixed reviews I can say with confidence this is well worth the money. The packaging was amazing and all visible crickets are alive. No complaints here.
