excellent quality for cell applications

We have been purchasing Globe Scientific 15mL conical tubes with printed graduation (SKU: 6285) for years. It has recently come to our attention that the most recently received 15mL tubes, Batch: 109380A-26, have a quality issue: plastic debris and a darkened scuff along the top rim. This quality issue can damage our equipment and taint samples. Globe Scientific needed to investigate this defect further.

The styrofoam tube holders shown in the picture (the only one picture is shown) are not included. It was one of the main decision-making feature. Without these holders, the tubes can be purchased noticeably cheaper. The tubes look like regular ones. We will probably use it anyway. (It was a test purchase.) But I will avoid this seller next time.

One tube cap was unscrewed and loose in the bag which was not in keeping with typical sterile tubes. Everything else was fine. Note the packaging is in 25 tubes/package - not stated in the description.

Works well with our centrifuge. We had tubes that were a snog fit with our centrifuge but these ones were perfect.
