This book was so instrumental to our district and its efforts to build shared knowledge and a common language around interventions. Buffum, Mattos, and Weber really do what the title says--keep it simple, focused, and powerful. They integrate the guiding principles of effective improvement at schools but make sure it’s focused on the learning of individual students—not average improvements. I must admit that I own both the softcover and the Kindle version—it’s a great reference I keep using to remind me WHY we do this work!

Great book - easy read - great for classroom teachers, coaches or administrators.

I am new to RTI, and I loved being able to read this book, and learn more about it. It's very simply written, and very engaging. I can't compare it to other RTI books, but I think this one is swell!

Easy to follow

This is a practical guide with realistic ideas, written by authors who have actually worked in schools. It's not just theory; it's full of tools to start using now.

This book is more for administrators in a school. I didn't find it as effective for myself as a teacher, but there were certain things that were good for me to read.

Great book! Every chapter explains Respose to Intervention a little more and simplifies it. Easy to read. A recommended read.
