Expandable Garden Water Hose, 100-Feet Hose with Spray Nozzle, Green

Below is what I originally thought and I still love the idea, the concept of this product. However, as so many people have complained - it only worked a short time and then it sprung leaks. What a shame.------Outdated review: Light, light, light (weight)! It's the whole reason I bought this. (I then turned around and bought another.) No heavy, twisted rubber that you have to make your son roll back up because he's still young enough that he'll do what you tell him to. I carry the length I want easily in one hand while spraying whatever kind of stream (mist, full, shower, etc.) from the other. No dripping water getting all over me. If there's a complaint, it's that you have to make sure all the water is out of it afterward but I don't find that to be a big deal. I simply turn the faucet off when I'm essentially done and then let that last water running through deflate the hose (which literally is putting itself away as it deflates) while topping off a few already-watered flowers. This is an amazing hose. I live in Southern CA and my plants really need watering - I feel like I'm enjoying it again more than I have in years!-------

I love these hoses. I had one for the last couple of years. When my latest contractor ripped it, I went out and got another one right away. It is light which is great for installing it in the spring and taking it down in the fall. It is light when I have to drag it around to water. Also it folds up so small. I love this product. product function is fine but the head leak ( joint at the head between the expandable hose and the connector to the nozzle). After few uses, it pops up and loose off and water all over my body.I tried to fix it myself but always pop open again.It happened to all 3 of the 100' expandable hoses I bought. Very frustrated.Can I fix the problem myself and how to make sure it would not happen so often? I don't want to return them all but it is not made well at the connection.

I forgot that I need to extend the hose a couple feet before turning the water on, and it burst and made a hole in it. Heard every year, they are coming out with a better product. I found a lighter hose that works like the old hoses.

I was a little apprehensive to buy this product after reading the other reviews. The price was so right and the gardening season was almost over (i bought it in July and I live in New England) so I took a chance. So far (i've had it for 2 months) this product has been great. Light weight, no leaks and preforms better then the Telebrands Pocket Hose, 50-Feet which is why I bought this hose as a replacement to this one. The spray nozzle is a bonus but nothing spectacular. I found the price, the size and weight just right for all of my gardening needs. I'm not sure it will last for the next few years since the quality level is a bit questionable which is why i did'nt give it 5 stars, but hey it gets the job done.

When it arrived it looked great and it performed terrifically. Then on day 12 it started to leak at the faucet connection and then on day 21 the hose itself it burst open and started spraying water all over everywhere. You are warned in the instruction of how you have to very carefully handle the hose and I did everything just as I was suppose to, but to no avail. In checking other peoples experiences on line, I find I am far from alone with this piece of cheap(although $50 bucks is not cheap) junk doing exactly what happened to me. For ten days it was the best thing since sliced bread and after that it was an Edsel!

Great hose for the money that doesn't create a trip hazard. Lightweight, flexible and no kinks! A winner here for all gardeners. A real help for elderly folks who have strength or stability challenges.

Loved the idea of this hose. Perfect for watering deck plants--took up a small amount of space. I followed directions with lever, and letting it inflate slowly etc. etc. Worked fabulously for the first three uses. Broke mid-use time number four. Such a great idea--seems like poor execution, though...too bad.
