Trac T10044 Outboard Motor Cart

I received this from Amazon with the black cross piece broken completely in half. It is a critical piece of the cart and its integrity in supporting the outboard motor - it is what the motor is supposed to clamp onto and it is supposed to be able to support the weight of the motor.The material looked like bakelite plastic and is apparently just as brittle. If I had this cart for use with an outboard I would first replace this black piece of material with a 2x6 piece of pressure treat lumber.The tubing used is a heavier gauge than I expected and should easily take the weight of a 100# outboard if the motor mounting piece does not break. This cross piece may never break but considering the consequences to the motor if it does I would not trust it.I returned the cart and then made my own motor stand to use instead.

Got two right handles instead of one rigtt and one left. The seller made me, the buyer, phone another company(their "distributors"), which I did. A week later I called again and "Oh, the lady that took your call is sick and we hadn't shipped it yet" Finally the left handle arrived. It did not match the original power painted-metal. (cheapy) bright sheet metal and to make things worse, it did not fit since they had crimpped the tube that was supposed to fit over (not inside) the base pipe!!!Cheaply made product! Not worth the price, nor the aggravation...

It works great. Got the motor out of my flower bed where my husband laid it down and left it. Now it's on wheels and I can move it into the great unknow in my garage. It's working great for me!

Very sturdy while moving as well as stationary. I have my 03 Suzuki 4 stroke 15hp w/electric start on it. Well worth the money.

Easy to put together. Very efficient and light weight. I can move the 110 lbs motor very easily. Very pleased so far...

Fast delivery and was what I expected.

just completed assembling the stand and i found out i was missing a lock nut and 2 washers. i had to head over to home depot to find a replacement. overall, it holds my 118lb 4 stroke pretty well. easy to manuver around.

No problem in assembling and all parts were included. I liked the fact that the gas tank could also be carried by the unit. The carrier was just right for a regular or short shaft motor, but it would not work for a long shaft. Definitely priced right for its usefulness.
