Female Pelvic Skeleton Anatomical Model, Medical Quality, Life Sized (10" x 10" x 6" Approx.)

The price is right, and you get what you pay for. Like most pelvis models, the screws that hold the pelvic halves to the sacrum are inserted so as to prevent demonstration of natural movement of the pelvis. The screws are also extremely difficult to remove and loosen to permit at least a suggestion of anatomically correct movement. But I succeeded in getting two of the screws out, which naturally loosened the two remaining, so it now has some movement. So I'm happy.BTW, you have to pay much, much more to get a pelvic model that moves correctly, so I consider this a very good model for the price.

It came very quickly. It's nice and sturdy and that is essential as I am using it a lot to study and later as a visual for pregnant clients. Only bummer is that it does not move like a real pelvis but that is clearly stated in description.

Wish there was some flexibility in the joints that are supposed to be flexible. Otherwise, it's a good model to have for learning/teaching purposes.

I give it a 3 star, very sturdy but not flexible enough which is unrealistic.

Looks like a female pelvis. This one is better than the male version.
