EcWorld Enterprises 7704646 Antique Replica Rubber Bulb Brass Car Auto Horn

I bought the round brass taxi horn prieviously. It was a little cheaper than my newest addition to my Power Chair fun add ons that also includes a brass bike bell, and another bike bell that has a working compass on its top, and a head light as well, although I've yet to venture outside at night here at Big Muddy River (asissted living) Apartments. We're not that close to the river, but close enough to wear its name. Anyhoo, my new horn is a beut and a real hoot. Its louder than my old one, plus the tone is much softer, and plenty loud enough to get lots of attention, and thats what I'm after. I'll maybe post a picture or two of my power chair next week when my eldest Granddaughter is here. Unlike my plain jane cell phone. Her cell phone has a camera an she has the cell phone savy to use it well enough the pictures end up here if possible.

This horn definitely looks better in the picture ad than it does in reality. Has a very good sound with lots of volume, but the craftsmanship (or lack of) is something different. The metal is very light, similar to that in a tin can (maybe a bit heavier) and the solder joints are quite crude and not dressed. If you handle it with some care it will do fine, but I think one spastic episode where it crashes to the floor may do irreparable harm. I would keep it out of the hands of the "little ones" for both the noise and the flimsiness of the horn. I'd give it five stars for the sound.

what a beautiful brass horn! Its the real deal, solid brass and a true instrument. The honk is loud and sounds like pure comedy. (warning, it startles dogs) Something I didnt know about the horn is this. It has a small bracket, nut and bolt type, on the side for attaching to your antique car. This is not shown or mentioned in the description. The dealer for Amazon acknowledged my order right away and shipped it out impressively fast. This was a great buy!

It did not take much for the bulb to break off the bell of the horn. It was dropped once, and it broke!
