Pepper's Women's Westwood Polarized Wayfarer Sunglasses

I have been buying $16 sunglasses from Target but the coating bubbled and peeled before long. I wanted to know before I bought these sunglasses if the tortoise pattern was a think coating or if the glasses were cut form a solid patterned plastic/acrylic.I asked this question, twice in two different ways, and was assured by the seller that the pattern went all through the frames.Well, that's not quite true. The pattern appears to be a clear layer sandwiched between two thin tortoise patterned layers. Not a thin patterned coating, mind you, but still not as described. Thus the 4 star rating, not 5.They have a lifetime warranty so I will keep them and see how they hold up. They are sturdy and good looking. They fit well, too.EDIT: Well, the pattern that the company said was embedded in the plastic is now showing that it is, indeed, a coating on the surface. I know this because it is now bubbling and peeling off. I have added a picture to show what I mean.This is not a $35 pair of sunglasses. Not any better than the $16 ones from Target. I now give them a 1 star rating and am returning them for a full refund. There is a lifetime warranty and these have lasted 6 months.Very, very disappointed.

Second time buying these because I left my first pair in an airport by accident. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the earpieces somewhat overextend outward which makes them feel a little loose. Bought my first pair at a major sporting goods store and they didn’t have this same issue.

I received the Pepper's Westwood glasses quickly and with no damage (packed perfectly by the way) and I am enjoying them. The glasses are extremely comfortable; however, a bit larger than I anticipated. The only other "issue" I have (I think because of the polarized lenses) is that some "colors" appear to be purple when actually they are not. The lenses afford a crisp, clear view when driving and I think they are definitely worth the price.

i usually buy $5 sunglasses so these are a big upgrade for me. The lenses are crystal clear and block a good amount of light but my eyes are very sensitive and I wish they blocked a bit more. I find that many sunglasses pinch the sides of my face and are made for petite people but these are comfortable and fit well without squeezing the sides of my head.

I bought my first pair of Pepper's women's sunglasses about 10 years ago and wore them until I lost them two years ago. I loved those glasses and while I shopped around with other brands I could not find a pair I liked so I ordered these. While Peppers don't carry the style I like anymore these are a great replacement. Lenses are clear and fit well.

I bought these originally from REI years ago and was so excited when I moved overseas and found that Amazon was stocking these. I am prone to migraines and these glasses have been my saviour in sunny Australia. I do quite a bit of fieldwork in my line of work and these sunglasses are great for that but also fashionable to wear on the weekends. It's wonderful to have a pair of sunglasses that's so versatile and doesn't break the bank. Will buy again and again!

I got these b/c of the polarized lens, and was a little surprised that they were slightly mirrored. I like them b/c they don't leave marks on my nose, but they aren't the best for polarized. If the polarization was a little stronger, especially b/c of the price, they would have 5 stars from me.Overall, I'm pretty happy with this purchase.

Peppers glasses are the only ones that consistently fit my face and don't cause discomfort if I wear them all day. Stylish. Was specifically looking for polarized glasses to wear on hikes that didn't make me look like a man, and these definitely fit the bill. Also, for about $40 a pair you can't really go wrong. Highly recommend. I have about 3 pairs in different styles.

I love the difference that having polarized sunglasses makes. Also like the case they came with. I think they are definitely worth the price!
