Replacement Power On Off Circuit Board + Reset Switch Cable for Playstation 2 PS2 70000 75000 77000 Slim & Lite

The media could not be loaded. So I bought this for two reasons one the green LED on my old power board broke off when I was taking the top off and two: the connections on the ribbon cable for the old board were bent so I bought this because it obviously solves both my problems. Yes, as other viewers have experienced, the button is a bit firm than the OEM board but it’s honestly not that bad if you power on the console with the tray open and when you’re done playing a game, just open the tray and turn it off that way.

I was repairing the laser on my old PS2 and, in the process of putting the cover back on, snapped the power button off the bracket. Very frustrating! Ordered this replacement part and was concerned because it looked a little different than my original piece, but at that price ... worth the gamble. Ordered it, arrived in a timely manner, connected the power ribbon and ... bingo! Lit right up, put the PS2 cover back on, started it up, and ... voila! Excellent purchase!

The button worked great and I was able to turn my PS2 slim on. However I noticed not game disc was being read nor was it spinning inside. After some investigation I saw that the small sensor that tells the system that the disc tray is closed wasn’t functional. Therefore I’m not able to play any games.

First purchase came damaged and was unable to use. Second one came and was a perfect fit in the ps2 slim console. Now power button works as well as oem.

Works perfect as is. Take ur time, dont mash cover back down. It fits if u think about it.

This piece hooks right up to the PS2, and fits into the console, however the button is super hard go press to get it to turn on/reset/turn off. It made my Playstation 2 work, but is less than ideal to try and use.
