As long as the rod is 1/2 or smaller then yes.

Will it fit in a large BGE?

If you're using a Joetisserie on a Large BGE, the skewers are too long and it will not rotate - I ground about 1/2 inch off the skewers in order to make it fit - otherwise it won't work
