The 81 year old lady that I take care of, LOVES this square sticker Zoo book the best!!! I hope the company will continue to make thesquare-shaped sticker books, the other ones with random shapes are too hard for her..She is pretty "with it" most of the time, but has some dementia & a short attention span. But..she has said...she wishes she could do this all day!!I have her choose which one she wants to do. Then tear out the correct sticker sheet. She picks out a sticker and I ask her the number. She tries to peel it off. (It depends on the day, sometimes she can do it and other times I help a bit, but overall she is getting better at it)Then I ask her again "Now what was the number"? Then I take away the sticker sheet (becuz sometimes she will try to put the sticker, back on the sticker sheet!) Then I put the picture we are working on in front of her. And repeat the number a few times, until she finds the correct spot & puts the sticker on the page. Oh and sometimes I have to tell her to turn the sticker til it correctly lines up with the picture..if it's a little off no big deal.I cannot say enough how much she loves doing this! And I love watching her enjoy doing something she can do..You can take it with you in the car, anytime she has to wait for a doctor or hair appt. etc This has been a fun activity been a real lifesaver for us! So worth the money.

I recommend this whole series of sticker puzzle book if you have a loved one with dementia ( or a pre-schooler)! This is the best product I have found to engage my 89 year old mother-in-law with fairly advanced Dementia so she doesn't spend the days staring into space. She will pick the book up and even if she doesn't work the puzzle, the bright colors and pictures of every day things (flowers, puppies, kittens, the beach, fish, even buses, etc) Draw her attention and she will sit for hurst's leafing through one book, unlike picture books I have ordered for her to use that way. She has completed one whole book and large parts of others. If I thought it was simple for her to do...I tried putting several pieces in one while she wasn't there and it is not that easy. This tells me it is practicing her Cognitive brain and hopefully keeping it from dying!

I purchased these for a 4 1/2 year old. The pieces were a great size for them. The photos are bright and beautiful!

I've bought these in the past along with some other mazes, dot-to-dots, etc. to share with younger kids during the church service. These are by far the most popular, to the point where I bought the whole series! I pull them out of the book and put them in my Bible bag so they're ready for sharing, and kids ages 3-12 so far have loved them! In fact, my early 20's son loves doing them, too, only he purposely puts them out of order so he makes a funny image!
