I recommend this lock because its easy to install and I feel 1000 times safer than with original top lock! And, the reason being this lock has a longer slide. And that slide goes deeper into that slide holder. See picture to understand me better. Lol. I'm a girl. Lol. But I will tell you, I had absolutely no trouble installing this lock! The key is deeper! And, you can take that key to any place selling keys and duplicate it to fit your bottom lock so you only use one key! Brilliant!!

I really like this deadbolt by Honeywell, it’s so easy to install, comes with two keys. Looks really nice, outside and inside. Fits regular door holes. Price is really good too, not expensive at all. Works really smooth.

Pretty decent quality. For the price it’s a good deal. I bought it used and it was missing the install screws for the plate and the latch plate. But I had others left over.

Know what you’re getting... these are residential grade deadbolts with one of the most common key ways in the US (Kwikset KW1). On the other hand that’s also a bonus. I also got a Kwikset rekeying locksmith set (a generic brand one for about $40) and was able to quickly key alike six of these locks in very short order. I’ve now got one key that opens all of my exterior locks on my house and I didn’t pay the $45 EACH that the local locksmith wanted to charge me.It’s a good looking lock that works well and simple to rekey after 5-10 minutes on YouTube. It’s kind of easy to pick though. If that’s a concern, you need a higher security lock.

Very easy to install. Be careful to watch your phone screen. The hook up to your router is fast. I missed it and tried to reinstall and it wouldn't take it. Also, if you had a previous TP account u will still be registered to using this Kasa Cam. That means u do not have follow the directions to Create a new account . U still have to set up the Kasa app then use old user and pass u have for TP_Link.

I purchased a new door and used these locks on the door. Was easy to put on the door, easy to lock, and I like the black color.

The lot barely covered two wrench hole. And then upon getting the lock in, the deadbolt was very loose and wiggled up and down. It was not a solid state lock. I feel anybody could have forced injury with this lock. It tried to place it on iron. and just the quality was not there.
