Outstanding clarity across FOV
The glass is what you paying for in these binoculars. And outstanding clarity across the entire FOV is what you get. A flat bright field in sharp focus and NO hint of chromatic, spherical, or astigmatic aberrations even at FOV edge. The mechanical adjustment features operate easily and smoothly. Passing to others who require a different setup works very well - intuitive, smooth, and enjoyable. In a past life I was an optical design engineer and I've been involved in many optical systems. Words fall short in describing the intensity of the visual impression or my respect for the prowess of the Zeiss engineers. All that said . . . . it's worth mentioning the exit pupil location and 10X power will require a steady hand or better yet a tripod to fully appreciate the resolution and observed subject detail. A steady hand is user dependent and mileage may vary but I found the balance and grip "just right" for minimizing hand fatigue. The low weight for its size, allows hand held "steady and clear staring" at a subject for 5 minutes and longer if you support your elbows. Expect a little coaching for new inexperienced users - my wife (not having used binoculars in 15 years) picked up "how to" setup adjustments and a steady hand on her first use. Her first comment was "Wow everything is so close and clear". This is a big $,$$$ purchase for a product best in class. If precision viewing is what you're looking for and you can afford them I highly recommend these Zeiss binoculars. If adequately taken care of these are definitely analog optical technology heirlooms to pass along for generations.

Even better than I expected !!
I had bought a pair of Celestron 20x60s for astronomy about a month ago and they weighed so much and had horrible chromatic aberration. I returned them and bought these. Yes, they cost 10x more, but they are so worth every penny. I got them yesterday and looked at the night sky last night in my light-polluted city. These binoculars pulled in so many stars that were not visible to the naked eye. There was no chromatic aberration, and although it's hard to hold them perfectly still, it was so much better than the Celestrons, which were impossible. With these 10x54 binoculars it was even possible to see the moons of Jupiter, which I found very exciting !! I may save up my $$ and buy the $8999 image-stabilization 20x60s in the future. In the meantime, I'll try to figure out how to attach a tripod mount to them and use a tripod.

Swarovski EL vs Zeiss Victory HT
I read a lot about both of these binoculars online but could not decide until I looked through both of the binoculars. I believe people don’t want to try new products or want to stick with trusted products which have proven history. Here I my honest review on these two binoculars: Glass: Victory Ht wins hands down. Swarovski El is not nearly as bright. The colors are way better with Zeiss and that 3D pop gives you out of the world experience. People will tell you that there is very slight difference between the two as both are top notch products. But let me tell you compare these binoculars in the night the difference is very obvious!!! I read online that swarovski has better sharpness but with my 20/20 vision I could not verify that. Build quality: Both products have outstanding build quality but Swarovski is a bit higher. Diopter and eye pieces are better in Swarovski. Focus is easier to use with Zeiss and is faster than Swarovski. Accessories: Swarovski comes with way better accessories in the box. Zeiss case feels very cheap. Customer Service: I called both the companies and as usual the reps did not know what they were saying. They had no tech knowledge about their own products. I could never get straight answers. Zeiss have really rude customer reps. Swarovski customer service is little better. What did I end up with: I bought Swarovski just because it is a proven product and Zeiss victory is relatively new. But I am not completely happy with my choice. I like the glass on Zeiss way better than Swarovski. I will buy Zeiss victory in few years when the design is finally perfected and has proven track record.

Lots of light
Zeiss lenses are - perhaps - the brightest of all binocular makes; the illuminated subject stand out perfectly clear and in the best image. Excellent product to own.

Excellent experience
Extremely satisfied with my purchase. Great experience. Condition was perfect as described. Shipping was as described. Saved a lot of money for a perfect pair over new cost. Great vendor.

Great product!
Very crisp and clear. The only reason not to give 5 stars is the the focus is not smooth though the whole range; it feels a little bit stuck while focusing around 35 feet. I sent it back to the company, they serviced it, but the problem returned after a few weeks. Will just learn to live with it.

Best I have used
Beyond expectations. I use these binoculars for deer hunting when 5 minutes of daylight makes a huge difference. They are razor sharp, have a silky smooth focusing wheel and gather light like nothing I have used. I had a pair from one of the other big euro binocular manufacturers that were stolen forcing me to replace. These new Zeiss binoculars have bigger objective lens, but are lighter in weight than others with similar specs. Was the best choice I have made in hunting equipment.
