Very thin materials . Not recommend for heavy loads

Just what I needed to store tools and tie-downs in on my flatbed trailer. I welded it to the frame on the front of the trailer. It’s well made and with the locks my tools are secure. Quick shipping!

Good sturdy built product the only things we had to change on it when we received it was the chains that hold the door when it is open very cheap and break easily.

These boxes are very very very low quality. My expectations were low to start because of the boxes reasonable price. It would of been hard to disappoint me but they succeeded disappointing me. The chains that hold the door would break under the pressure of anything other than the door.5 cents more and they could have added a real chain. The aluminum is paper thin and could not withstand any weight associated with Under body truck boxes typical contents unless you plan to fill it with foam. I have shopped for other boxes at places like Tractor Supply which is a discount chain. Their box is a 10 compared to this. Standing alone their box is a 5. Also you will be stuck with return shipping if you don't like them even if you have only opened the box but not mounted them. I live in California so it was 27 bucks each to return the two I bought. I imagine if you on the East Coast it would not be worth returning them. Pay the extra for a real box from someone else.

Despite the negative comments on this box,I ordered it anyway. Great product for the price. Chains are weak. I replaced them. It is listed as an under bed truck box but latch is on the side as in picture. Works great as a storage and organizer for my shoeing tools.

I will echo the previous comments already stated. the metal is thin, the welds are minimum. the chain can be cut with scissors. I would further explain the quality of this box by saying pretty much anyone can grab the front corner of the lid and bend it back when locked. however, this box will fit perfectly on my utility trailer and hold the less expensive things associated with a trailer. (jack, chocks, straps, etc) I would never feel comfortable putting any power tools overnight in this box. I will say that its huge, has a lock, and looks pretty damn sexy on my trailer though!***UPDATE*** I bolted this tool box to the front of my trailer and it look awesome. since the metal is thin, i chose to put rubber spacers between the box and the frame to keep the rattle to a minimum.It came with a small dent in one corner, kinda looked like it had been dropped in shipping. the box was fine and unnoticeable until removed. I contacted the seller and received a small refund for my troubles. Bottom line is this box isn't the top of the line, but you aren't going to be paying top of the line either. the biggest perk about buying this product is the owner is clearly going to stand behind what he sells. he deserves to be recognized for reaching out to me and doing something when i didn't expect anything.
