Being transparent was important to me

I used a 70 universal needle to sew this header tape to very fine fabric to be used as a pelmet. It gives a firm pleated header, easy to gather and adjust to fit. Sold as a 10 metre length. I didn’t need this much but left over has gone in my « stash » and always good to have extra just-in-case

I had ordered clear net/voile tape about 6 months ago which was exactly as shown in the image, was what I had expected and was easy to use with my Harrison Drape curtain hooks. However, when I ordered again a couple of weeks ago, this was out of stock so I ordered the suggested replacement. Although similar in appearance to the original, the hook pockets were woven into the body of the tape rather than formed from a separate ribbon type fabric which is stitched onto the body of the tape. As the he track I'm using (Harrison Drape) has quite thick plastic hooks, it was impossible to get these into the pockets so, unfortunately, I had to return the product. If the hooks you're intending to use are slim or metal, you may find this tape suitable - it just wasn't suitable for my requirements.

Does exactly what you’re expecting have used it before and will use it again, great.

I used the tape on net curtains and it was perfect for the job: light but very strong.

Much easier to use than the old fashioned cotton header tape
