With the nights drawing in, my fruit tree saplings needed that extra boost. This is a great product and after testing it for six weeks, i can confidently say it works. I have it on the highest setting with the 9hr timer. For the money, its a no-brainer. I also measured the power consumption and its only 14.8 watts on the highest setting, which i was surprised/pleased about. If you're wondering should i get this one? Do it.

Recommended by a friend , Use to grow a Tulsi ( Holy basil ) , Possibly by another , when i fully settled down , as wanting to grow more in door plants .

They are really useful for booking young seedlings in late winter to get them going early - once you’ve got the hang of the settings and position to put the lights as they don’t come with any instructions re this !After killing my first indoor strawberry plants cos I had the lights too close and strong (the tips of the leaves went white!!) lol - and plenty of google searches on led lighting and strawbs etc ! - I’ve now got the hang of them and successfully using to boost myMangetout, caulis, and other early seedlings prior into the greenhouse ...Lights about 20cm for once more than 1 set of true leaves (excl. seed leaves) and about 30cm away for smaller - and I leave on about the 3rd bottom strength (ie go down to lowest and count the clicks up) - nb - when u switch off and then on again it can default to the highest strength so just dbl check :-)Then I’m leaving on for about 6-9 hours a day, either manually 2x3hrs a day if going out or on the 9hr timer.Plants all now happy!! - replacement strawbs on order lol :-)

Really love this little light. Perfect for dark nights, gives off a good light and lots of different options for light colours and timings PLUS it also clips on to the table! Great little device!

It's too early to see if the lamp made any difference to my plants, but I wanted to make people aware about the light's effect on our eyes. The blue light, though is pretty, can hurt your eyes and can cause digital eye strain. Wear sun or special glasses and don't have the lights in a place where you spend a lot of time.

We had this plant light for a few days, so can't say too much yet in terms of long term performance for its intended use - will update in due course. We have bought it for use during the winter months especially for young growing plants.In terms of everything else: functions, design, brightness etc. it's very good. The light is very nice and bright and can be adjusted. I suppose there's no reason why you couldn't use this to create a relaxing ambient setting or to use it as a night light. Being LED, I'd imagine the energy consumption won't break the bank as this light is intended to be used over several hours a day.The 3 time setting options are very adequate, keeping it simple to use but still versatile. The design is clever and very functional with the flexible necks as well as the large desk clip. The cable is of adequate length. The whole thing seems robust and decent quality - although it's fair to say time will tell of its reliability and longevity.

I bought it based on reviews and most of them said it helped with their plants.I had some cucumber seedlings and on some of them I used the lamp and on some I didn't and the latter seemed to be a bit smaller and of a more faded green. So not a scientific experiment but it seemed to have made a difference. It's very well built, only complaint and maybe nitpicking is that I wished it had some sort of stand insted of the clamp.
