They work wonderfully. I cut them into 1/4ths to use them ...
They work wonderfully. I cut them into 1/4ths to use them in my 2.5 gal Betta tank. After a few days my betas colors began looking much more vibrant. I cycle every other week by removing my carbon filter, folding up my leaf section and placing it right in where the filter was! Then when I do my water change I remove the leaf and put the carbon filter back to clear up the water again.

What doesn't hurt, could possibly help.
Leaves exactly as described, clean and in good condition. My Betta and Kuhli Loaches really enjoy sleeping in them. I've also used these in freshwater shrimp tanks. If you need to soften your water, place a few of them in your water change container and fill it a few days before you're going to use it.

I have two female Betta's they both seem happy with the leaf
I have two female Betta's they both seem happy with the leaf. It does change the color of the water.

Worked great for two sick bettas
I use these leaves with my betas and used them with a sick Oscar. Unfortunately, the Oscar did not survive. The two bettas, however, have basically come back from near death as they were purchased from Walmart and in very poor condition. If it weren't for using these leaves with their beneficial tannins for the bettas, I'm sure they would have died.

Very good product
This is a fantastic product well worth trying, not only is it inexpensive but it is great for tropical fish, it really helps to stimulate a black water for the fish which is their natural environment, it also enhances the natural color of your fish and helps with their fertilityIt can also lower the ph of the water which is great as this absorbs harmful chemicals, my sister had used it and told me about it but to be honest I was not sure but I gave it a try and am really impressed
