Love the sauna, hate the design
Pro:the sauna does get up to 136-138 no problem. It does get toasty inside.Unfortunately, there are way more constant cons on this model.Cons-- First, there is a strong chemical smell when first turned on. Actually, the smell has yet to go away when I turn it on. It's awful. The combination of chemical and burning rubber smell. It can't be healthy.-- second, the chair that comes with it, it's more of a child's chair. I'm five foot seven and I am extremely uncomfortable on the chair. The chair seat digs into my thighs and the chair back only goes up to right under the bra strap. Very uncomfortable to sit on it--you have to have great posture--not possible to slouch.-- which brings me to the third problem. Because the chairs back only goes up halfway, it leaves your back completely exposed to the back of the sauna where one of the heating elements are. Sounds like a good problem, but in reality, your back is too close to the super hot element. In theory, you should be able to move the chair up to get away from the back. Which brings me to the fourth problem.-- the size of unit. I am 5 foot 7 and really, the unit is a touch too small for me to sit comfortably. I personally would not recommend it for anyone above five seven. Someone that's 5 7 may be able to do it if they have short thighs, otherwise no.-- the last problem is the biggest deal killer for me. Look at the attached photo. You can see the sides are folding in. There is no mechanism to hold up the sides or push them back out. That means when I'm sitting in this tiny little baking chamber, the burning hot sides are trying to rest on my arms. There is no way to get away from the sides or prop the sides back up that I found. So i am twisted like a pretzel to try to key my arms away from sides. It is very uncomfortable. As a result, while I love the concept of this sauna, it is getting shipped back the Amazon. In my research since buying this sauna, there are other portable saunas that have a larger footprints that are within $50 of this price range. If you're a taller or larger person, I recommend that you look at those options. If you're shorter than 5 foot 7, and don't mind a strong smell which may dissipate within a number of uses, the sauna might be the one for you.

Does what it claims.
I purchased this infrared sauna in hopes of helping with my arthritis pain and circulation issues. I researched infrared saunas prior to purchasing and found many articles that claimed these saunas also burn calories. I bought the sauna about a month ago and have only used it 4 times. The set up was easy and quick. I did find the chair to be very uncomfortable (if you are a big person like me, it will be too small). I replaced the chair with a beach chair that we already had on hand. I enjoyed sitting in the sauna much more. I am tall and felt like the neck hole is too far front for me personally, but that may be due to the chair exchange. This may not happen to everyone. I do get pain relief when I use the sauna, but it actually makes my swelling worse. It is probably because I do not drink enough water (yes I know). But to my surprise, I actually felt like I had done a workout! I have only been able to stand it up to 30-40 min so far, but plan to use more and work on getting up to an hour. But even after only using it for 30 min, I was sweaty and felt the same way I do after I have worked out! I cannot say whether or not I burned any calories because how do you verify that? I am happy with the purchase and will continue to use it.

decent for the price
After using for 3 months, thought I'd share my experience:Pros: gets warm, stays warm. Easy to set up and use.Cons: One problem with the design (which is a pro for being more compact) is that there is a zipper on the floor. When you sweat, it's going to go through the zipper to whatever you have this on. I tried having a garbage bag under it, but the footpad gets warm enough that it will melt it.Quality is not great (but not horrible)- Along with other users, I've had seams split (easy enough to re-sew), and a good bit of the reflective silver on the inside has wiped off. The velcro for the neck has become unusable after a couple months. The chair has rusted pretty quickly- to the point of joints failing (pics). You will likely need to eventually pick up a different chair to use. However, the electronics remain strong and consistent (at least at 3 months)- keeps a good, warm atmosphere, which is why I got it in the first place. It's not spacious, but even at 6'3" I'm not burning myself against the sides or back- I've got enough room to stay away from the elements. I'm not dissatisfied with the purchase, but quality could be higher, even at this price point.

Loooove it!!
I missed the sauna so bad since gyms closed due to the pandemic. This has been great. I only wished I had bought it sooner!

Short lived
Loved the sauna at first. Got really hot quickly. Unfortunately the tent absorbs sweat and after a short time it starts to smell. Zippers started to corrode from moisture and broke after four months of use. The infrared panel and foot pad still work; all it needs is a new tent but unfortunately a replacement tent is not available.

Wonderful product
This thing is amazing! Originally I had ordered a sauna bed but returned it to have the sit up type like this one. As soon as I got it it was very easy to assemble... just had to take off the wrapping lift it up, turn it on .it was hot in 10 minutes. Sat in it for 15 minutes with a towel on the floor and towel on the chair. It was very relaxing and I slept very well that night and skin is very soft. I definitely recommend this it's worth it I believe it's more effective than the saunas in the gym because it's infrared. because it's your own little personal 'sweatbox' and gets very warm very quickly, you just need to wrap up in a towel or sit in there nude if you want to... either way it's your own private sauna Its awesome!
