Not too difficult to assemble.
To plant bare root Dahlias in Spring. I can’t wait for them to bloom.

I bought this for inside the house.
I bought this for a couple of house plants that really like humidity. Works well once you seal the reservoir with silicone to the res of the planter. Otherwise dirt falls from the edges. Attaching it to the base will also stop the problem of the bottom falling out that other commenters have discussed. Also I had to sew the zipper back on in a spot.

Looks good and is roomy
We love how this planter looks and its size. You will need to reinforce the Trey like other reviews have said. There’s numerous ways to do that. We just added more screws to hold it together. Refer to other reviews to see what to do. The problem that we are experiencing is there’s no drain holes so if you get a lot of rain the soil stays very wet. Our plants are being overwatered because of it. So if you have a way of protecting the planter from rain it may be a good idea! Vegetables were doing fantastic until I realized they were turning yellow and the soil was constantly wet. One option may be to add more soil to the planter to make it deeper so that the top can dry out…???

This will last you 2-3 years
This is the second planter I bought from Cedar Craft. The previous one lasted me 2 ½ years as the bottom fell out last year. I received little support from the company so told me that I had incorrectly assembled the first one. Otherwise, these are good while they last and that is why I purchased this new one. It was relatively easy to assemble however the instructions could be written more clearly. They have redesigned the funnel going to the water reservoir which is an improvement.

Expensive for what it really is.
Good quality materials and hardware but $350.00? too much.

just arrived.
Well designed product. I will offer 2 suggestions. The wooden sides have an inside and an outside, The outside has a saw kerf to add a rustic industrial feel, the inside has a normally sanded finish. it looks better to have the rustic side out. in assembling be sure to start attaching the wood to the metal from the top. There is a corner block that goes on last, and it fits better if the wood is flush. The instructions say to start at the top on the long side (length) and at the bottom on the short side (width). I suggest to start at the top on length and width. The corner cap is too loose and doesn't fit snugly. I wrapped the insert with tape to make it fit snugly. They are currently out of stock but i will order one for a mothers day gift if they come back into stock

Missing netting
Easy to assemble but missing the netting that goes around it to protect the plants from birds.
