FAQ 1. How quickly will I see results? a. If you don't train your grip at all you will see and feel results straight away. 2. Should I change my workout? a. No...Not your routine, however you will be able to lift less in the short term as you are now working your forearms much harder. Over a short period time your forearms will catch up with the rest of your arms and your new found strength will allow you to increase the amount you can lift. 3. Why curved? a. Why not? Most handles I.e. rackets, motor bike, bicycles etc are either curved or very soft so your hand creates a curve. The reason these handles (that have undergone many safety trials in some cases) are like this is because it utilizes the whole hand. A fat bar can't be soft for obvious reasons so the optimum shape is clearly curved. 4. Will they fit around every bar in existence? a. Probably not! They have been designed to fit around most but given the variation in sizes it is impossible to fit everything. If there is a gap, hold the bars so the gap is in the palm of your hand. You won't feel the gap that much and it will not affect your finger training. 5. Who are these aimed at? a. Anyone wanting to increase their grip and forearm strength. Specific sports such as climbing, grappling, obstacle course, arm wrestling, Parkour and pretty much any sport that requires hand strength. I personally use them as I am a climber and regular train on obstacles such as Tough Mudder and urban Ninja.

A must for anyone that lifts.
I bought these due to a head injury that left me with a weaker left hand grip. I wanted to stress it, with the aim to improve it over time. These aren't specifically for that purpose, but should provide something extra to give me a chance to recover. If not, there's still benefits to be had by using them.I have them on a standard 1" bar and they are not tight and do move around. I've seen complaints regarding this, but honestly don't find it a problem. It actually makes things easier for me when it comes to certain exercises. I have a feeling you'd have the same with other brands too, as some bars vary a little anyway. For the price I paid at £8.99, I'd say they were the best little investment for my home gym. I feel the workout more in my forearms and wrists, and have to push harder using the same amount of weight as before (pre grippers)I've given them 5 stars for price, quality, usefulness, design and packaging. In fact there wasn't any packaging, which I loved about them. It would only go in the bin anyway...Give them a try, it could be the best £9 you've spent on fitness equipment. Pictures coming soon

Just what I needed.
Fitted to a pair of spin lock dumbell bars that I'm using for circuit training which involved doing press ups while holding the dumbells. This was uncomfortable when my whole bodyweigt was supported by the bare bars, so the addidtion of these fat bar grippers has solved that issue perfectly. The rubber is soft and wide enough to provide a little cushioning and when I stand to do curls the wider grip helps with the carpal tunnel in my hands. I would point out though that the grippers don't fit the barbell bars snugly so there can be a little movement during curls, however, the comfort benefit outweighs this. And also the grips fit my spin lock barbell perfectly, so when I switch over to using that, these grips will no doubt be even more useful. They are of a solid manufacture and look like they will last.

Great product
These grippers are great. They arrived promptly and are of a really high quality. They go on the bar easily and stay in place. You can move them along the bar by opening them up a bit and then moving them to the desired hand position. I definitely feel my forearms working harder when I use them. They also allow me to do certain movements with ease, e.g. bench press. I like to press with what's called a 'suicide grip' (it sounds a lot scarier than it is), which is where I don't close my grip completely around the bar (due to my long fingers). These grippers allow a stable pressing platform in the palm of my hand and wrist, using this style of grip, which allows me to perform the press much better. That said, I would always advise caution when using that style of hand grip and I only do it when I have the safety pins in place on the squat rack to catch the bar if it ever fell.

I'd say that's pretty close to the truth
I read that these can improve your grip overnight. I'd say that's pretty close to the truth. I use them for static holds and hammer curls this cycle. Best on an olympic bar, they fit very snuggly. Deadlifts, shrugs and barbell rows feel more secure after a couple of sets with these. Rest of lifts feel smoother because my hands feel strong on the bar. Standard bar diameter is a little small (dumbells) but if you've got a good grip...My rock climbing son uses them too, he feels the same pump in the forearm he gets from climbing.Don't do too much work with them as they will compromise your grip ironically, thumbs especially feel awkward until you get used to it.

Great product, good company, affordable.
Excellent quality, very effective in increasing forearm strength. Since starting with these (basically doing incline db press, curls, lunges and different pull exercises with these on) all my lifts have increased quite drastically. Would recommend to anyone who wants to cut their learning curve for further muscle development especially after hitting a plateau.

Sturdy, quality grips.
Quick delivery. Also, at the time of writing, these were much cheaper than any where else, so top marks to the seller. Good quality and sturdy, they're also quite 'weighty', which I'd take as a good sign that they're likely to last. Diameter is slightly wider than I'd like (I've got medium-sized hands). Also, because they're 'curved', I find them more difficult to grip than the 'straight' type fat grips, but that's just my personal preference.

I have been using a cheep alternative (steel grip) tbh they wear fine if you have small hands as they are a lot smaller, I've also been using the original FatGripz and I can honestly say these ones are better than the original FatGripz, they fit the contour of your hands and as they have a slight inversion at either end they fit perfectly on my EZ-Bar. 5⭐ without a doubt, and the price is perfect too at £13.99 buy them and you will not regret it

Absolutely perfect
These fat grips are very well made and of high-grade rubber. As you can see from the pictures they fit all gym equipment perfectly (Pics from Virgin Active). The grips also fit the standard kettlebell, I use these on a 32kg kettlebell for a farmers walk and by the time you have done 10 meters and back your forearms are exploding. These also fit both diameters of barbell in the gym for the effect of an axel bar.
