Person & Covey DHS Tar Shampoo 8 Ounce.

I have psoriasis on my scalp and my forearms. Had been using a topical cream for arms and a medicated prescribed shampoo that I was using for *years* until it wasn't working as effectively...went to the dermatologist and pretty much experimented with 10+ different products that either didnt work or were so gross (like straight oil on the scalp). Same with forearms...oily topicals that got on everything. I just wanted to be able to wash my hair again and have the issue go away :( it wasn't until I just so happen to dye my hair a few days before my dermatologist appointment that we learned my symptoms only subsided after i dye it. She sends me home with samples of this shampoo. not only did it CLEAR MY SCALP but it CLEARED UP MY FOREARMS?! Actual miracle. Ive been using this stuff for almost 2 years and haven't had any flair ups. The smell isn't ideal in the sense it doesnt smell like typical shampoo as it IS tar shampoo after all lol. but it isn't so strong/bad that your hair will smell like it after. I always follow up with conditioner like normal and my hair will just smell like that conditioner. I have long thick hair that I absolutely adore and I dont feel its negatively effected my hair quality at all, obviously if you dont follow up with conditioner it will feel dry but thats with all shampoos. (I use Redken all soft conditioner). Highly highly recommend giving this a try if you've tried everything else and nothing works. It will surprise you!!

This is the best psoriasis shampoo I’ve tried. It’s the least drying and it really works.

This has worked great for me and I have been using it for years!

It hasn't gotten rid of the scalp psoriasis, but it has helped the itching. It still itches but less frequently. Also, it is unscented for those of us who are allergic to anything with fragrance.

Needed an alternative after t-gel was discontinued and this has actually stepped in and does just as well.

Just used it once and seems to do what doctor wants.

All of a sudden, my Chihuahua had dandruff. I tried several expensive shampoos and nothing worked until I used this cole tar shampoo on her. Now she has no dandruff, but smells a little bit like cold guitar, so I have to purchase some sort of organic fragrance for her, but that is better than her having dandruff!
