Great game with a different pace and feel.
A great game that moves away from the (mainly German designed) games which appear engineered to keep everyone scoring close together until the end. Dixit really does bring something different in attempting to make you use you knowledge and understanding with the other players so as to explain a card in which SOME BUT NOT ALL of them will be able to correctly pick your card. There are great you tube videos demonstrating the game in action including a certain series with an ex-star trek star, and it was this that made me get the game. Some of the cards are a little unusual but that's part of the game. I understand there are a huge number of add on card packs to keep the game fresh however they appear expensive (IMO). One of the few games that is universally liked with my family and played repeated. Well worth a try!

Fantastic Interesting Game - Not for Everyone Though
Not quite as I expected, but a great fun game. Dixit: Revelations invites you to go beyond what you see at first glance and discover what lies hidden between, In these stylized pieces, reminiscent of New York City’s architecture and glass Tiffany lamps, you’ll find many allusions to ancient myths and folk tales. Go on, give it a go.

Personally I don't mind that but it's good to know that these cards are in no way ...
The cards in this expansion pack are quite dark and a few are really a little scary. Personally I don't mind that but it's good to know that these cards are in no way cheerful. Also good to know is that these cards are very specific which means that regardsless of how vague you try to describe the image the reality is that only one or two other cards in the deck might match. This obviously makes the gameplay a little tricky, but if you mix them up with your other cards you'll be able to "dilute" it a bit, so there shouldn't be a problem. Now to the positives! The cards are incredibly beautiful and really captures your imagination. Delivery was quick and without incident.

Good quality
I bought them as metaphorical cards to work and play. The paper has good quality, the pictures are not as bright as I expected though. But it doesn't affect the usage.
