Take It to Your Seat Science Centers, Grades 1-2

My 7-yo home-schooled grandson loves these. They're easy for him to read the instructions and do the project. Based on other reviews (thanks for the tip!), I made sure to look at the assignment first as some require you to copy one side of a page in order to do the full assignment, otherwise the kiddo will cut out the "cards" and not have the next assignment, which was on the back of the "cards" for the first part of the project. On avg, takes him about an hour to complete each, which gives me time to set up his next course work. Wish there were more projects! He's almost done with the book.

Purchased these for my second grade classroom. We are a school built with curriculum centers. These are easy to set up. Students can independently grab daily center, sit down and get to work. The students are enjoying the information about living things. They are also great for my students age level.

I teach in a special education setting and it is often hard to find material that is good for my students that they like. It is great that these activities can be done both on one on one or as a group. When my students get pulled out for specials, I have those that are left continue on their folders.

easy to assemble and ready to use. Loved the ability to keep a record of student work. I would laminate before student use to prolong life.

this book has every thing a teacher needs and wants when teaching science. it has certainly helped me to enhance my lessons.

This book is Wonderful resource for individual and small group lessons and it aligns with many common core standards. Great!

Great products, always!

These are great books. Activities are easy to assemble. And my son enjoys the hands on style learning. I was however disappointed in the huge jump in skill level between the Science centers Pre-K-K and this book. My son has finished the first book but isn't ready skill wise for this one. Also the Pre-K-K book was full of color and this one is largely black and white.

Ok to start a lesson or unit. I would be great to use if you were putting together practice work centers. Really needed to add quite a bit of extra to it.

Over priced and you have to cut and laminate everything yourself. A big hassle
